This role combines strategic thinking with practical execution; you’ll shape the technical direction of our distributed rendering platform, align teams on shared goals, and create the conditions for consistent, high-quality delivery. This role is part of our ScraperAPI team, one of our growing brands at saas.group . ScraperAPI is an enterprise-scale web scraping solution, trusted by businesses across a wide range of industries to extract crucial data at scale. From e-commerce, travel to real estate and market research, we support companies in turning the web into actionable insights. We're currently on an exciting growth journey, scaling rapidly as demand for reliable, high-performance web scraping and data keeps rising. Profile Overview We recently acquired Traject Data, home of SerpWow and Rainforest API, and now run an end-to-end data pipeline: from proxy and scraping infrastructure through to structured, ready-to-use data APIs. The next chapter is turning that into one coherent, AI-native platform and we're looking for a CTPO to lead the combined 25-person product and engineering org through it. You'll report directly to the CEO, sit at the leadership table, and be the person who understands the stack down to the proxy layer while also setting where the product goes next. Your immediate impact in the first 3-6 months will be: • Get hands-on with the heart of the product: proxy dynamics and anti-bot evasion, working directly with our Head of Ops to optimise vendor relationships and build up capacity. • Build real fluency in the product and the backend so you can operate as a genuine technical sparring partner to the CEO, not just receive direction. • Start bringing the ScraperAPI and Traject Data infrastructure together on a coherent technical roadmap Your responsibilities • Own end-to-end product and technology strategy across our scraping infrastructure, proxy networks, and structured data API products (ScraperAPI, SerpWow, Rainforest API). • Lead, scale, and develop a 25+ person product and engineering organisation spanning multiple countries and time zones, building the management structure it needs as it grows. • Set technical architecture direction for high-scale, high-reliability infrastructure, including proxy management, anti-bot evasion, and large-scale scraping systems. • Drive AI and modern ML tooling into both the product itself and how the team builds and ships it. • Define and execute one product roadmap across the merged ScraperAPI and Traject Data lines. • Represent product and technology to the board, and work closely with the CEO and commercial leadership to keep product direction and business strategy aligned. • Stay close enough to the code and infrastructure to go in and troubleshoot, fix, or challenge a technical decision yourself when it matters. What You bring to the table • Experience leading product and/or engineering at a highly technical company (CTO, CPO, VP Engineering or similar), at a 25+ person org or larger • Real hands-on depth in web scraping, proxies, or closely adjacent infrastructure. You understand the operational reality of this space and you don't rattle when a source breaks overnight and it's suddenly all hands on deck • A genuine track record with AI/ML, both shaping AI-powered product capability and pushing AI-native ways of working through an engineering team • Experience owning product vision and technical architecture together, not just one side of that line • Comfort operating at board level: a clear communicator who can hold their own with an ambitious, hands-on CEO and knows when to push back • Bonus: experience integrating product lines after a merger or acquisition What’s in it for You • Ultimate flexibility: We’re 100% remote. You can work from wherever you like, whenever you like. • Freedom and autonomy: We’re a high-trust team, and you’ll be given lots of flexibility to solve problems in your own way, with plenty of help from the team when you need it. • Minimum bureaucracy: We don’t like to get bogged down with meetings and red tape. We like to be efficient and keep momentum steady & sustainable. • Small & friendly team: We help each other out, have fun, and joke around. • Our network: We are a community of entrepreneurial SaaS professionals that regularly exchange ideas, knowledge, learning and expertise with each other internally. • Flexible time off: We want you to recharge your batteries when needed. ScraperAPI is part of saas.group and we have a shared goal of succeeding together. What is saas.group? Think of us as the driving catalyst behind your favorite software success stories. saas.group, established in 2017, is on a mission to turbocharge promising B2B SaaS ventures, unlocking their full potential. The Role We are looking for a Product & Web Designer to shape the user experience of Action1's SaaS platform and help make complex IT management workflows simple, intuitive, and efficient. Your primary focus will be designing product interfaces, improving usability, and building consistent design patterns across our platform. You'll work closely with Product Managers and R&D teams to turn product requirements and user needs into practical, well-designed solutions. This is a hands-on role with real ownership. We value designers who think beyond visual appearance, understand how users interact with software, and are comfortable proposing solutions rather than simply following instructions. Alongside product design, you may occasionally support web, HR, and marketing initiatives with visual design work. What you'll do • Design intuitive user interfaces for Action1's SaaS platform. • Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes. • Improve usability and simplify complex product workflows. • Refine product interfaces based on user feedback, usability insights, and technical constraints. • Occasionally create visuals for websites, HR initiatives, and marketing materials. What we're looking for • 2+ years of professional experience in UI/UX or product design, preferably for SaaS or web applications. • Strong UI/UX skills, including interaction design, user flows, information architecture, and visual design. • Hands-on experience using AI-powered design tools and solutions to accelerate workflows, explore ideas, and improve design outcomes. Nice to have • Experience designing complex B2B SaaS products, dashboards, or administrative interfaces. • Experience with user research, usability testing, and data-informed design decisions. • Understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and WCAG principles. • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and frontend development constraints. • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or endpoint management products. Please include a portfolio demonstrating your product design work. We especially value examples showing the problem, your design approach, and the final solution. Benefits • Fully remote work with flexibility to support your work-life balance. • A collaborative environment that empowers you to own your domain and implement best practices. • Stable income, benefits, flexible working hours, and opportunities for career advancement. • Friendly, professional colleagues who are eager to support you and help you grow. • Engaging challenges and opportunities to make a meaningful impact.

Responsabilités:

• Design intuitive user interfaces for Action1's SaaS platform. • Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.

Research Intern, ClickHouse Labs

À distance ✓EN
C

PROGRAM OVERVIEW The ClickHouse PhD Research Internship Program offers doctoral students the opportunity to pursue ambitious research alongside ClickHouse Labs researchers and engineers working on some of the most interesting challenges in databases, systems, and data infrastructure. Research interns join ClickHouse Labs for approximately 10-12 weeks to explore meaningful research questions, develop new ideas, and investigate technologies that have the potential to advance both the broader research community and the future of ClickHouse. The program is intentionally designed around research collaboration. Interns are paired with experienced researchers and have the opportunity to pursue work that aligns with their academic interests, ongoing research, and areas of interest within ClickHouse Labs. In some cases, an internship may build on research, a prototype, or a system the student has already begun exploring at their university. We believe the strongest research relationships extend beyond a single summer. Interns may continue their work after returning to their university through academic research, open-source contributions, publications, or other forms of collaboration. Where there is a strong mutual fit, an internship may become the beginning of a longer-term relationship between the researcher, ClickHouse Labs, and the broader academic community. During their internship, researchers will have the opportunity to work closely with ClickHouse Labs, engage with ClickHouse's open-source technology and engineering community, share their findings, and contribute to the intellectual life of the broader research community. Program length: 10-12 weeks, with flexibility based on academic calendars and research needs Typical timing: Summer, beginning approximately June 1 Locations: Opportunities available across the US and Europe, subject to role and employment requirements. Remote first. Research environment: ClickHouse Labs Internship format: Research-focused, mentor-supported, and shaped around areas of mutual research interest Compensation: commensurate with experience, a monthly stipend will be paid RESEARCH AT CLICKHOUSE LABS ClickHouse Labs explores ambitious ideas at the intersection of databases, distributed systems, data infrastructure, and the broader systems research community. We believe some of the most interesting advances in these areas happen through close collaboration between industry and academia. ClickHouse Labs brings together researchers and engineers to explore new ideas, investigate challenging technical problems, and connect academic research with real-world systems at scale. Research interns are an important part of that community. Interns have the opportunity to bring their own research interests and perspectives into ClickHouse Labs while working alongside researchers and engineers who are deeply engaged with both the practical challenges and open research questions shaping the future of data systems. PROGRAM GOALS 1. Identify exceptional PhD researchers working in areas directly relevant to ClickHouse. 2. Give researchers the opportunity to work on meaningful, open-ended problems with ClickHouse Labs. 3. Build long-term relationships with researchers and academic institutions. 4. Encourage continued research and open-source contributions after the internship. 5. Create opportunities for co-authored papers, thesis advising, or other academic collaboration. 6. Increase ClickHouse's visibility within the database and systems research community. 7. Publish and share meaningful research outcomes through the ClickHouse website and other appropriate channels. WHAT MAKES THE PROGRAM DIFFERENT This is intentionally not a highly structured engineering internship and should not detailed planning. ****But the high-level problem area and expectations should defined several months before the internship begins. This flexibility is intentional and allows ClickHouse Labs to respond to: • Emerging research questions • Current ClickHouse priorities • New academic research • Interesting systems or database prototypes • Work candidates have already completed • Opportunities to apply new research ideas to ClickHouse The goal is to identify researchers whose work is already closely aligned with areas ClickHouse cares about and then determine the most valuable research problem to pursue together. CANDIDATE PROFILE We are looking for exceptional PhD students conducting research directly relevant to ClickHouse and the broader database/systems space. IDEAL CANDIDATES • Currently pursuing a PhD in computer science or a closely related field • Conducting research in areas relevant to ClickHouse • Demonstrated research excellence • Strong database systems, distributed systems, hardware, or related technical background • Has demonstrated ability to independently pursue complex research questions • Ideally has prior experience with …
