Applied AI Engineer

À distance ✓EN

ABOUT ELEVENLABS ElevenLabs is an AI research and product company transforming how we interact with technology. We launched in January 2023 with the first human-like AI voice model. Today, we serve millions of users and thousands of businesses - from fast-growing startups to large enterprises like Deutsche Telekom and Meta. Our investors are some of the world's most prominent, including Andreessen Horowitz, ICONIQ Growth and Sequoia. We've raised $781M in funding and our last valuation was $22B - multiples of 11, always. We have expanded from voice into three main platforms: • ElevenAgents enables businesses to deliver seamless and intelligent customer experiences, with the integrations, testing, monitoring, and reliability necessary to deploy voice and chat agents at scale. • ElevenCreative empowers creators and marketers to generate and edit speech, music, image, and video across 70+ languages. • ElevenAPI gives developers access to our leading AI audio foundational models. Everything we do is the result of the creativity and commitment of our team - builders doing the best work of their lives. We are researchers, engineers, and operators. IOI medalists and ex-founders. If you want to work hard and create lasting positive impact, we want to hear from you. HOW WE WORK • High-velocity: Rapid experimentation, lean autonomous teams, and minimal bureaucracy. • Impact not job titles: We don’t have job titles. Instead, it’s about the impact you have. No task is above or beneath you. • AI first: We use AI to move faster with higher-quality results. We do this across the whole company—from engineering to growth to operations. • Excellence everywhere: Everything we do should match the quality of our AI models. • Global team: We prioritize your talent, not your location. WHAT WE OFFER • Innovative culture: You’ll be part of a generational opportunity to define the trajectory of AI, surrounded by a team pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. • Growth paths: Joining ElevenLabs means joining a dynamic team with countless opportunities to drive impact - beyond your immediate role and responsibilities. • Learning & development: ElevenLabs proactively supports professional development through an annual discretionary stipend. • Social travel: We also provide an annual discretionary stipend to meet up with colleagues each year, however you choose. • Annual company offsite: Each year, we bring the entire team together in a new location - past offsites have included Croatia and Italy. • Co-working: If you’re not located near one of our main hubs, we offer a monthly co-working stipend. ABOUT THE ROLE We're building agents that run real parts of our business, take on real work, and get better based on the results they produce. You'll build them with whatever is most capable right now: our own agents platform, the latest orchestration tools, and frontier models. The hard part is making them reliable, measurable, and safe enough for the business to depend on. You'll sit in Marketing Engineering and be forward-deployed to our growth pods, where you'll find the problems worth solving and own the solutions end to end. You might be a forward-deployed builder, an applied AI engineer who has taken agents beyond the demo stage, or a full-stack engineer who is curious about growth. REQUIREMENTS • Python, SQL, LLM APIs and agent orchestration • You've shipped production systems that other people relied on, starting from a vague problem • You've built with LLMs beyond a demo and know how to evaluate them and where they fail • You measure whether what you built worked • Bonus: experience with GTM data or marketing systems. LOCATION This role is remote-first, so it can be executed from anywhere in Europe, with the ability to operate in GMT and GMT+1 timezones. If you prefer, you can work from our offices in London and Warsaw. LI-Remote We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability or other legally protected statuses.

About the role We're looking for a Data Scientist - Product Analytics to join our Growth Data team. You'll own the analysis behind how people discover, adopt and stick with ElevenLabs' products, partnering closely with Product, Growth and the central Data team's certified metrics layer. • Define and own product health metrics: activation, feature adoption, retention and engagement across ElevenCreative, ElevenAgents and ElevenAPI. • Design, analyse and communicate the results of product experiments (A/B tests, feature launches, onboarding changes). • Partner with Analytics Engineering on the certified product KPI layer in dbt, and with Product on turning ambiguous questions into trusted analysis. • Work alongside fellow Growth data scientists on marketing- and revenue-adjacent questions that touch the product funnel. Requirements Demonstrated experience as a data scientist embedded with a product or growth team, ideally at a product-led company. • Strong SQL and Python, with hands-on experience in experimentation (A/B testing) and product analytics. • Ability to translate ambiguous product questions into clear, reusable analysis and defensible metrics. • Comfort working directly with Product and Growth stakeholders, and pushing back on ill-defined asks. • Structured thinker who can move fast without sacrificing rigour. Bonus • Experience with activation / retention modelling or lifecycle analytics at a consumer or prosumer product. • Experience with dbt or a modern warehouse, partnering directly with analytics engineers. • Experience using AI tools or agents to speed up analysis or enable self-serve data access. Growth potential We believe in hiring the best talent in the world to make an impact in the right role at the right time. At ElevenLabs, strong performance creates opportunities for growth. Here are some of the career paths you can expect after excelling in this role: • Grow into a Senior or Staff Product Data Scientist role as the Growth Data team scales. • Expand scope across additional product lines (ElevenAgents, ElevenAPI). • Path into a Growth Data Science lead or broader data leadership track. LOCATION This role is remote-first, so it can be executed from anywhere in Europe, with the ability to operate in GMT and GMT+1 timezones. If you …
