Summary Join the Foundation in our ambitious project to empower people to create and share the sum of all human knowledge. We are looking for a Lead Financial Analyst to serve as the strategic business partner to our Product & Technology department, one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing parts of the organization, with a combined budget of more than $100M. You will also support other key areas of our work and, as the most senior analyst on the Financial Business Partner team, be responsible for driving improvements in financial planning, analytics, and our business partnership practices. This is a business partnering role first and an FP&A role second. You will sit alongside product and engineering leaders, help them weigh investment tradeoffs before decisions are made, and turn roadmaps into financial plans. You will work directly with the Chief of Product and Technology (CPTO), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and the broader executive team. This is a chance to have an outsized impact on a mission-driven organization that operates one of the most visited websites in the world. This role is remote and open to candidates between UTC-8 and UTC+1. Why this role • Be the trusted finance advisor to Product & Technology leadership, with a real voice in how we invest more than $100M in people, infrastructure, and partners. • Work on infrastructure that serves more than 20 billion views per month. • Drive projects with impact and executive visibility, including our CPTO and CFO. • Shape the future of our business partner function by leading projects, setting standards, and mentoring other analysts. • Join a collaborative, globally distributed team that values knowledge sharing. What you'll do Be the Finance Partner to Product & Technology, and a second department • Act as the lead finance partner to department leaders and budget owners, providing analysis that informs prioritization and investment trade-offs. • Join planning and roadmap conversations early as the voice of finance, raising tradeoffs and risks before commitments are made. • Provide the financial voice in business strategy across our technical infrastructure and product development objectives. • Translate roadmaps from teams like SRE, AI/ML, and Data Engineering into budgets, forecasts, and headcount and contractor plans. • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasting, and multi-year planning for your departments. • Facilitate on vendor spend optimization across cloud, hosting, software, and contractor support. Plan for capital and technical accounting • Lead data center and infrastructure CAPEX planning, including capacity, hardware refresh, and depreciation impacts. • Partner with Accounting on software capitalization, including project classification and capitalizable labor and contractor costs. • Model total cost of ownership and build-versus-buy decisions, and communicate their financial impact clearly to non-finance leaders. Deliver insight and reporting • Lead month-end close, forecasting, and variance analysis, with clear commentary on drivers, risks, and opportunities. • Present resource plans and financial performance to senior leaders, including our CPTO and CFO. • Build and maintain dashboards that connect spend to technical and product outcomes. Lead, mentor, and strengthen the business partner function • Coach and mentor FP&A analysts on modeling, analysis, and stakeholder partnership, including reviewing their work and helping them build executive-ready communication. • Help set the standard for what good financial business partnership looks like, and share best practices across the team. • Lead projects that improve the function, from scoping through roll-out, including streamlining multi-year financial modeling, departmental reporting, and business insights. • Help manage our financial planning and reporting system, including documentation, process improvements, and new module roll-outs. What you'll bring Required • Bachelor's degree plus 7+ years of experience in FP&A, financial business partnering, or corporate finance, including experience supporting a technology, engineering, or product organization. MBA or CPA preferred. • Experience partnering with technical and product teams, and the curiosity to learn how they work. • Experience working at a strategic level on business and organizational-wide goals. • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting to executives. • A track record of building credibility with senior stakeholders and influencing without authority. • Experience supporting multiple divisions or business units at once, mentoring or coaching other analysts, and leading process improvement projects. Preferred • Tech-specific planning experience, such as data center or infrastructure CAPEX, software capitalization (ASC 350-40), headcount planning, and contractor or vendor spend. • Experience with …

Why AssemblyAI AssemblyAI builds the best-in-class Voice AI models powering the next generation of voice applications. Our models serve 600M+ inference calls monthly, process 1M+ hours of audio daily, and power 2 billion+ end-user experiences. The Voice AI space is at an inflection point; we’re looking for folks truly excited to join a small team and help define the future of the industry. We are one of the most capital-efficient AI companies on the planet - with under 100 people generating roughly $600K ARR per employee, we sit among the top 5 most revenue-dense teams within the fastest-growing AI companies today. That's not an accident; it's a deliberate choice to stay lean, move fast, and give every person on the team outsized ownership and impact. With thousands of customers including Granola, Fireflies, Figure AI, and CallRail, the company has real scale - processing over 2 million hours of audio daily and handling more than 1 million API calls every day. This is a rare growth-stage opportunity where the business is proven and the trajectory is steep, but the team is still small enough that your fingerprints are on everything. If you've ever felt buried under layers of bureaucracy, starved of real ownership, or frustrated watching your work disappear into a slow-moving org, AssemblyAI is built differently. The company operates as a true meritocracy, with no heavy planning or approval processes and no gatekeeping on the tools or information you need. For anyone who genuinely cares about voice AI, not as a trend to chase, but as a technology to build, this is the place where the most interesting problems at the most interesting scale are being solved by a team small enough that you'll actually know everyone's name. We’re committed to creating a space where our employees can bring their full selves to work and have equal opportunity to succeed. No matter your race, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, origin, ability, age, veteran status, if joining this mission speaks to you, we encourage you to apply! About the role: We're looking for a Head of GTM to build and lead AssemblyAI's go-to-market business across Europe. You'll own the region end to end: revenue, pipeline, and the Sales, Applied AI, and Forward Deployed Engineering teams that turn technical wins into production usage across our Voice AI models, Voice Agent API, and LLM Gateway. Europe is already one of our fastest growing regions. European calling platforms, contact center software, and voice agent companies are moving production workloads onto AssemblyAI’s voice models for multilingual accuracy, often replacing incumbents or self-hosted models after head-to-head evals. Today it's a small, high-performing footprint covered largely from the US. You will be the first senior leader on the ground and turn it into a full regional operation: set the strategy, hire the team, win the right accounts, and become the senior face of AssemblyAI for customers and the European AI community. This is a builder's role, not a caretaker's. You'll carry the region's most strategic deals yourself early on, then hire and lead the team that scales it. You'll report to the VP of Customer Solutions and work in lockstep with our US GTM leaders and with Research, Engineering, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance, so that EMEA runs on the same technical, product-led, evaluation-driven motion that wins for us today. What You'll Do: • Own the EMEA number: new logo revenue, expansion, and usage growth across the region; from first evaluation to production at scale • Set the regional GTM strategy - which countries (UK & Ireland, DACH, France, Benelux, Nordics, Southern Europe, verticals, and segments to prioritize first, the target account tiers, and how coverage evolves as the business grows • Build and lead the European team across Sales, Applied AI Engineers, and Forward Deployed Engineering; hire the first wave of regional talent, set the bar and the ramp plan that make new hires productive in weeks rather than quarters, and develop future leaders • Run an integrated motion where Sales, Applied AI, and FDE work as one team: technical discovery, custom benchmarks, evals, and hands-on deployment that converts wins into compounding usage • Personally lead and close the region's most strategic deals, acting as executive sponsor for key accounts and engaging CTOs, CPOs, founders, and heads of AI directly • Build the operating system for the region: forecasting, pipeline inspection, deal reviews, territory design, and the metrics that show early whether EMEA is on track • Drive an outbound-first culture where pipeline is created, not waited for, and where outreach earns replies through real technical insight • Navigate the region's commercial and regulatory landscape (GDPR, the EU AI Act, data residency, DPAs, and enterprise security reviews) with Legal and Security, so compliance becomes an advantage, not a blocker • Make AssemblyAI …
