À distanceEN

What we’re looking for • Around 3 years or more of professional full stack development experience . • Hands-on production experience with React, TypeScript , and Tailwind CSS. This is the core of the role . • Backend experience in Python, or the clear ability to pick it up quickly . • Respect for UI and UX ( user interface and user experience ) work . You do not need to be a designer , but you take design feedback seriously and you give the details the time they need . • The ability to own a feature end to end: the data model , the API, the interface, and the tests . • Comfort with Linux, Git , and a CI pipeline . • Strong written and spoken English. German is a plus. The day-to-day • Build and maintain our ground control station : the operator view , the map , the live video , the controller integration , and the messages that tell an operator what the aircraft is doing . • Build internal tools for the engineering teams , from data views to small applications that remove manual work . • Work across the whole stack : a Python web backend, a typed API, and a modern web frontend, with most of your time on the frontend. • Turn design direction into polished interfaces , and bring your own ideas on what goes on the screen, what does not, and what has to be visible at a glance . • Work with the autonomy , perception , platform , and testing teams , who supply the data your interfaces show . • Take feedback from pilots and test engineers , and turn it into changes they notice . • Contribute to the customer-facing web applications as those begin . You should apply if you • Have experience with Vite and with typed API clients generated from OpenAPI . • Have experience with FastAPI , Pydantic , or SQLAlchemy . • Bring experience with map-based or real-time interfaces : live telemetry , video streams , or anything where the screen must keep up with a moving system . • Can navigate building interfaces for operators , pilots , or control rooms , where a wrong click has a cost . Nice to haves • Experience with interfaces that must work outdoors , offline, or on an unreliable network. • Experience with more than one language in a product interface. • Experience deploying web applications to a cloud platform . • An interest in drones , robotics , or defense technology . What we offer Real impact & ownership: Shape high-tech defense systems and take responsibility from day one Mission-driven environment: Work on technologies that matter for European security and sovereignty Competitive package: Competitive salary, EGYM Wellpass, corporate benefits, and equity options aligned with role and level Deep tech environment: Get hands-on experience with cutting-edge drone technology and real operational use cases Grow fast: Steep learning curve for juniors, strategic influence and leadership opportunities for seniors Startup mindset meets defence innovation: flat hierarchies, fast decisions, and space for your ideas. Principal Robotics Engineer - Autonomy & Behavior

À distanceEN
T

What we’re looking for We are looking for a Principal Robotics Engineer to set the technical direction for how our robots make decisions. Today, much of that logic sits in handwritten C++. You will move it into behavior trees or a similar formal model, so that a reader can follow and test a flight from a file. You will also define how these models request flight skills from the autopilot, and you will make the stack reusable on a second robot. This is a technical authority role with no people to manage. You will join an autonomy team of five engineers, report to the Team Lead Autonomy, and work closely with our Principal Systems Engineer. We want a strong robotics generalist with deep C++ skills and real depth in at least one area: state estimation, motion planning, control, or perception. The day-to-day • Own the behavior layer : design the nodes , the ports , and the structure that makes a flight readable and testable as data rather than as code. • Move the remaining flight authority out of hand- written logic and into the tree , and prove that the new path behaves like the old one before we delete the old one . • Define how the companion computer asks the autopilot for a flight skill , and how it reads back whether that skill is running , finished , or refused . • Draw the line between what is shared across robots and what each robot writes for itself , so that a second platform reuses the stack instead of forking it. • Make failures legible : a log and a trace should tell a reader which check said no , and why . • Work across the autonomy , perception , platform , and testing teams , since the behavior layer touches all of them . • Raise the technical bar: design reviews , code reviews , and the written arguments that go with them . • Mentor engineers , without holding a management line . You should apply if you • Have around 5 years or more of robotics software experience. Leadership experience is not required. • Have deep C++ expertise, and the judgment to design a system that other people will extend. • Have real experience with behavior trees, or with another explicit way of expressing robot behavior, and clear opinions about where that approach breaks. • Have a breadth of knowledge across robotics: state estimation, motion planning, control, or perception. Depth in at least one of them. • Have Experience with robots that run in the physical world , not only in simulation . • Possess the ability to take a design apart in a discussion and put it back together better. Nice to haves • Experience with BehaviorTree.CPP or a comparable behavior tree library , including tooling around it. • Experience with ROS 2, DDS, and the design questions that come with a distributed robotics system . • Experience with PX4, ArduPilot , or MAVLink , and with the split of work between an autopilot and a companion computer . • Experience with drones or other aircraft . • Experience with simulation , software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, or replay-based testing . • Experience making a robotics stack work for more than one platform . • Open source contributions in robotics . • Strong written communication . We write our arguments down. • Strong written and spoken English. German is a plus. About DataCamp Data and AI skills are critical for thriving today, and DataCamp is the platform that empowers everyone to learn them. We help individuals and Fortune 1000 companies close the data and AI skills gap through world-class learning, hands-on training, and a global community of expert instructors. In this role, you'll build the partnerships function that scales our curriculum—bringing the world's leading content providers, technology vendors, and highest-profile instructors onto DataCamp so millions of learners can build the skills that matter. About the role This is a player-coach role that reports to our Content organization. You will own the partnership strategy end-to-end, personally close the deals that define it, and then build a small team behind you as the function grows. Here's what your day-to-day will look like: • Own DataCamp's partnership strategy for curriculum: which content providers, technology vendors, and marquee experts we partner with, in what order, and why. • Source, negotiate, and close partnerships—licensed and co-branded content, official vendor certifications, and marquee instructor deals. • Build and manage senior relationships across the AI, data, and cloud ecosystem, from partner leadership through to their content and product teams. • Work with curriculum, product, legal, and marketing to take partnerships from signed agreement to live content that learners actually complete. • Define what a high-quality partner looks like for DataCamp and hold the bar—prioritizing depth and learner impact over volume of logos. • Own the commercial and contractual side of partnerships, including licensing terms, revenue share, and instructor agreements. • Hire, coach, and grow a small partnerships team over time, while continuing to carry your own portfolio of relationships. • Report on partnership performance to leadership, and make the call on which partnerships to double down on and which to retire. Qualifications: • 3-5+ years in partnerships, alliances, or business development at a B2B SaaS or technology company, with a track record of sourcing and closing deals you personally led. • Deep fluency in the AI, data, and cloud landscape. You know who the players are, how the ecosystem is shifting, and which partners will matter in 18 months. • Experience in the education, EdTech, or enterprise L&D market, and a real understanding of what makes learning content valuable to a buyer and to a learner. • Proven ability to build a function from near-scratch: you’re a self-starter and are able to seamlessly switch from strategy to execution. • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, including comfort with licensing, revenue share, and content rights. • Excellent cross-functional judgment. You can hold your own with content, product, and legal teams and translate between partner ambitions and internal reality. Bonus if you have the following • An existing network across AI and data technology vendors, certification bodies, or the creator and expert community in data and AI. • A deep understanding of the DataCamp course format—you have an intuitive sense of what makes a great DataCamp course. • Experience as an educator or curriculum developer in technical education. Why Datacamp? Joining DataCamp means becoming part of a dynamic, creative, and international start-up. Here are just a few of the reasons why you'll love being on our team: • Exciting Challenges – Tackle some of the most important educational challenges in Data & AI. • Work with the Best Instructors – Partner with top-tier instructors from leading organizations like Microsoft, Hugging Face, AWS, and more. • Competitive Compensation – We offer a competitive salary with attractive benefits. • Work Flexibility – Benefit from flexible working hours and a remote-friendly culture. • Professional Growth – Access to a yearly learning & development budget. • Global Culture – Join a team that values international collaboration. • Annual Retreats – Participate in international company retreats, fostering a global team spirit. • Tools & Setup – Receive an annual IT equipment budget to refresh your workspace. Our competitive compensation package offers additional benefits. On top of your salary you will also receive extra legal benefits such as best-in-class medical insurance including dental and vision.
