Z

Why Zyte? At Zyte, we don’t just collect web data—we solve complex web data challenges at scale. We are a globally distributed team that is bold, curious, and dedicated to building innovative ways to deliver clean, reliable web data from across the internet. • Data is our passion: We unlock access to open web data, empowering organizations—from startups to global enterprises—to power competitive intelligence, analytics, and AI pipelines. • Remote-first culture: Work from anywhere in the world. With over 260 Zytans across 33 countries, our strength comes from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. • Engineering excellence: We love diving deep into complex code bases, evaluating emerging technologies, and pushing technical boundaries. If you thrive on creative problem-solving and reliably delivering production-grade solutions, you will fit right in. • Established system design framework: We systematically analyze functional and product requirements alongside architectural trade-offs to make informed, sustainable design decisions. • Real-world distributed systems challenges: Tackle rare engineering problems in custom networking, high-throughput streaming, and large-scale orchestration under real-world operational constraints. • Strong product ownership: Work on a profitable, market-leading platform with dedicated time and resources allocated for architectural research and strategic feature engineering. Why This Role? Zyte API powers a suite of Java and Python microservices running across multiple cloud providers and data centers. Every engineering team—spanning Core API, Browser, Edge, Antiban, AI, and Agentic products—relies on foundational infrastructure managed by our team: Kubernetes clusters, high-throughput Kafka pipelines, billing engines processing per-request metrics, and robust inter-service contracts. We are evolving Zyte API into an automated software factory: a platform where developers and AI agents seamlessly create, validate, deploy, and maintain data extractors and workflows through governed interfaces. Two foundational layers drive this evolution. The control plane (service/schema registries, health-aware routing, automated canary releases) is actively under deployment. The context plane, which synthesizes observational signals to guide automated repair and optimizations, represents our next major design effort. As a Staff Engineer, you will own both architectures, setting the engineering standard for how services at Zyte are designed, built, and operated. You will be the technical lead in the Core & MLOps squad, collaborating closely with the Team Lead, Senior Engineers, DevOps, and QA, while directly influencing the release velocity and architecture of five neighboring squads. Requirements What You’ll Do • Architect the control and context planes. Advance the control plane (service registry, schema registry, SLO enforcement, CLI tooling) into a robust production substrate. Design and build the context plane to aggregate operational signals—such as domain extraction histories, IP reputation scores, and BigQuery cost/performance telemetry—creating automated feedback loops between intent, execution, and self-healing maintenance. • Own the service chassis and golden path. Maintain and refine multi-language client libraries (Java and Python), standardized workload specifications, Helm charts, and deployment pipelines, driving seamless adoption across all product teams. • Define inter-service contracts. Establish gRPC and Protocol Buffer definitions, API gateway transcoding, versioning policies, and schema evolution rules to enable autonomous, safe deployments across teams. • Operate the platform substrate. Partner with infrastructure engineers to run Kubernetes (across OCI, Hetzner, Servers.com, and GCP), Terraform, HAProxy/Nginx ingresses, Confluent Kafka, real-time event-billing pipelines, Valkey, and ongoing database modernizations (MySQL to PostgreSQL). • Drive architectural strategy via RFDs. Lead Requests for Discussion (RFDs) on critical platform initiatives, including durable workflow orchestration (Temporal/DBOS), per-request gateway orchestration, multi-cluster routing, and automated failover. • Institutionalize reliability engineering. Establish clear SLOs and error budgets for core capabilities, implementing health-aware traffic isolation and automated weighted canary deployments to eliminate manual release bottlenecks. • Share production ownership. Participate in the shared infrastructure on-call rotation, lead incident post-mortems, and translate operational lessons into platform improvements. • Elevate engineering standards. Mentor engineers across squads on distributed systems design, review system proposals, and establish intuitive best practices that make building reliable software effortless. Who You Are • 10+ years of experience building scalable distributed backend systems, with a proven track record of authoring internal platforms or core …

Enterprise Account Executive - EMEA

About Abacum Abacum is the leading Business Planning solution for finance teams to drive performance. By automating reporting, enabling collaboration, and simplifying planning and forecasting, we help finance teams shift from number crunching to driving strategic decisions. Founded in 2020 by two former CFOs, we’ve grown into a global team of 100+ people across 30+ nationalities. Headquartered in New York, we have offices in Toronto and Barcelona. We’re trusted by industry leaders such as Dish Networks, Strava, BetterUp, Kajabi, JG Wentworth, Abridge, Cortex, and hundreds more. We have raised over $100m, closing in June 2025 our $60M Series B, led by Scale Venture Partners, with the strong participation of Cathay Innovation, Y Combinator, Atomico, Creandum, and angel operators from Adyen, Zapier, and Twitch. Our mission is ambitious and we can’t do it alone - join Abacum as we build the future of Business Planning! We are looking for... An enterprise seller who already knows the Office of the CFO. You've carried a number selling planning, EPM, FP&A or finance software. You know how a CFO buys, how a steering committee stalls, and how to get a multi-stakeholder deal signed. At Abacum you'll own a named territory of enterprise and upper mid-market accounts across EMEA. Many of them run legacy planning tools or spreadsheets that can't keep up with the business. Your job is to show them a better foundation, and win. As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will... • Own the full sales cycle for a named book of enterprise accounts, from first meeting to signed contract • Build and run your own pipeline through targeted outbound, events, and partner co-selling with ERP vendors and implementation partners • Sell to CFOs, VPs of Finance and Heads of FP&A, and bring IT, procurement, security and legal along the way • Run complex evaluations: discovery, business cases, proofs of concept, and competitive displacements • Forecast with discipline and keep a clean pipeline in CRM • Work with Solutions Engineering, Product and Leadership to shape deals, and feed what you hear in the market back into the roadmap What we need... • 6+ years of quota-carrying B2B SaaS sales, with at least 3 years closing enterprise deals • Experience selling EPM, FP&A, planning, or other Office-of-the-CFO software (finance, ERP, spend, or data platforms) • A track record of closing six-figure ARR deals with 3–6 month cycles and hitting or beating quota • Comfort leading multi-stakeholder deals with finance, IT, procurement and security at the table • Experience displacing an incumbent, whether a legacy system or a spreadsheet-based process • A consultative, value-based approach: you build a business case in a CFO's language • The drive to build your own pipeline, not wait for inbound • Clear, sharp written and verbal communication, including running demos with senior buyers • Based in EMEA, with the ability to travel to customers and events Bonus points if you have... • Sold with or through ERP ecosystems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics) or implementation partners • Worked in finance, or you're comfortable talking models, drivers and variances with an FP&A team • Used a structured sales method (MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or similar) • Been an early seller at a scaling company and helped build the enterprise playbook Why sell Abacum You know the category. Here's why this is the product you want in your bag. 1. A market ready to switch. Finance teams are stuck between rigid legacy planning tools that need a rebuild every time the business changes, and spreadsheets and AI tools no one can trust. Abacum is the governed, AI-native foundation that fixes both. That's a displacement story you can tell in every account. 2. AI that stands up to a CFO. Plenty of vendors claim AI. Ours runs on a governed financial model, so the AI reasons and the math stays exact. CFOs and IT teams can trust the output, and that wins technical evaluations. 3. Faster time to value than legacy EPM. 700+ integrations and self-service data pipelines mean customers see value in weeks, not after a long implementation. That shortens your cycle and makes the business case easy to sign. 4. Channels that bring you deals. Abacum is the only FP&A platform to pass NetSuite's SuiteCloud Developer Network review, is listed on the Sage Intacct Marketplace, and is a verified Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner. Those ecosystems and our implementation partners mean co-sell pipeline, not just cold outbound. 5. A product that keeps getting stronger. New AI skills ship every week. Abacum works where finance already works: Excel, Slack, Claude and ChatGPT, through MCP-native infrastructure. You'll have something new to show every quarter. 6. Funded to win enterprise. Abacum raised a $60M Series B to scale into larger customers. You'll join as we build the enterprise motion, with the room to shape it and grow with it. What …

Also, while we are a remote-first company, you may be asked to report in person on an ad-hoc basis for team gatherings, functional off-sites or customer meetings. . See yourself at Twilio Join the team as Twilio’s next Staff SRE, Platform Engineering About the job Twilio is looking for a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join our Platform Engineering organization. SRE owns production health and resiliency at Twilio — we are accountable for whether our services stay available, performant, and recoverable for the customers who build their businesses on us. SREs here are software engineers who focus on reliability: you will architect systems with reliability designed in from the outset, define the SLIs and SLOs that determine whether we are meeting customer expectations, and build the automation that keeps our infrastructure efficiently ahead of capacity and performance demand. At the Staff SRE you work without day-to-day guidance, applying deep subject-matter knowledge and industry-leading practice to improve the products, processes, and services that Twilio runs on. You will own the reliability posture of significant parts of our production estate. Your impact will be felt across multiple teams rather than within one. This is a hands-on engineering role. You will write and deploy code that improves service reliability, orchestrate complex changes across systems, lead the response when production is degraded, and raise the quality bar for the engineers around you. Responsibilities In this role, you’ll: • Own the reliability posture of production services in your area — availability, latency, capacity, efficiency, performance, and the monitoring and alerting that makes them visible • Define, instrument, and operate against SLIs and SLOs, and use error budgets to drive engineering priorities • Identify trends and problem areas that threaten stability, and provide a path forward to mitigate risk before it reaches customers • Drive down repair items and prevent classes of incidents rather than resolving them one at a time • Improve detection, response, and recovery — reducing time to acknowledge, engage, mitigate, and restore, with fewer people pulled in • Design for failure: strengthen failure domains, validate recovery paths, and make production changes safer to ship and safer to roll back • Participate in on-call for the services you support, and lead the response when production is degraded • Write post-mortems that identify true root causes, and drive the follow-up work to completion • Oversee efforts to identify, diagnose, report, and document production problems across all reliability dimensions • Write, configure, and deploy code that measurably improves service reliability — maintainable, reviewed, documented, and well tested • Orchestrate complex changes across systems and services, documenting design changes, technical decisions, migration plans, and upgrades • Lead debugging, troubleshooting, and analysis of service architecture and design • Use code review to drive up the quality of your coworkers' code • Reduce the operational overhead required to run infrastructure and services • Drive projects from conception to completion for efforts spanning the concerns of your team • Coordinate across programs, collaborating with others to estimate and communicate delivery timelines • Break projects into milestones and tasks, track progress, and communicate updates to stakeholders • Identify and communicate changes that may impact stability Qualifications Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table! *Required: • 8+ years of related engineering experience, with a substantial portion focused on reliability, infrastructure, or platform engineering • Demonstrated accountability for production systems — you have carried a pager for services that mattered and owned the outcome when they failed …

Responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll: • Own the reliability posture of production services in your area — availability, latency, capacity, efficiency, performance, and the monitoring and alerting that makes them visible
