This role is part of our Central Platform Engineering Team at saas.group . What is saas.group? Think of us as the driving catalyst behind your favorite software success stories. saas.group, established in 2017, is on a mission to turbocharge promising B2B SaaS ventures, unlocking their full potential. As a Software-as-a-Service portfolio powerhouse, we specialize in acquiring small software treasures and polishing them into industry stars. With a dynamic, fully remote team of nearly 350+ colleagues spanning 50+ countries we are truly global and we are rewriting the playbook on SaaS innovation and collaboration. We grow 23 exciting brands under our umbrella. Feel free to explore our Candidate's Hub to get an insider's view, dive into our culture, gain valuable insights into our teams and how we work. Also, don’t forget to follow saas.group on LinkedIn to stay up-to-date on our job openings, podcast episodes, and with all things happening at our company. Profile Overview Our Platform Engineering team runs central infrastructure services and partners with brands to modernize their stacks. The mission: provide a “paved road” of opinionated best practices (observability, backups, CI/CD, infra as code) that brands can adopt quickly, and support hands-on migrations when needed. You’ll own outcomes for a set of brands: assess where they are, recommend what “good” looks like, and implement the plan. The role blends architecture, enablement, and practical engineering. It’s senior and autonomous: you’ll advise and sometimes convince stakeholders, then deliver. Your immediate impact in the first 3-6 months will be: • Complete central onboarding by pairing with a team member for ~2 weeks to learn our patterns and tooling, then start managing the brands assigned to you. • Lead the onboarding of at least one brand to our “paved road” standards (GitHub org, CI/CD, monitoring/observability, IaC), with positive feedback from brand leadership and our team. • Deliver one or more migrations/refactors (e.g., CI/CD, infra modernization, cost/availability improvements) and document decisions so others can build on them. Your responsibilities • Lead infrastructure projects for assigned brands: migrations, performance & reliability improvements, incident response practices, containerization, and cloud cost optimizations. • Establish/upgrade CI/CD, infra as code, monitoring, alerting, and SLO-aligned dashboards; baseline and improve reliability with data. • Advise brand CTOs/engineering leads on trade-offs and architecture; justify decisions with clear reasoning and measurable outcomes. • Contribute to and consume central services (e.g., observability, backups) so brands don’t reinvent the wheel. • Collaborate with developers as part of the product team during engagements; troubleshoot across app and infra boundaries. • Bring AI into the paved road itself: use tools like Claude Code or Codex daily to speed up IaC, scripting, and incident diagnosis, and help brand teams pick up the same habits in their own workflows. • Participate in an on-call rotation (lightweight today; scaling toward a fair, shared model). What You bring to the table • 5+ years of experience in Platform or Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles, operating at a senior level with strong ownership and autonomy. • Deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (ideally Terraform). • Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and best practices; able to assess, design, and modernize pipelines across diverse brand environments. • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, New Relic, ELK, Prometheus, or similar) and sound judgment on what “good” looks like. • Hands-on, daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, or similar) in real infra work, not just curiosity about them; comfortable coaching brand teams on how to use them well. • A background in software development or the ability to read and debug application code. • Excellent communication and consulting skills; confident in advising and influencing technical stakeholders while adapting to different teams and tech stacks. What’s in it for You • Ultimate flexibility: We’re 100% remote. You can work from wherever you like, whenever you like. • Freedom and autonomy: We’re a high-trust team, and you’ll be given lots of flexibility to solve problems in your own way — with plenty of help from the team when you need it. • Minimum bureaucracy: We don’t like to get bogged down with meetings and red tape. We like to be efficient and keep momentum steady & sustainable. • Small & friendly team: We help each other out, have fun, and joke around. • Our network: We are a community of entrepreneurial SaaS professionals that regularly exchange ideas, knowledge, learning and expertise with each other internally. • Flexible time off: We want you to recharge your batteries when …

This role is part of our ScraperAPI team, one of our growing brands at saas.group . ScraperAPI is an enterprise-scale web scraping solution, trusted by businesses across a wide range of industries to extract crucial data at scale. From e-commerce, travel to real estate and market research, we support companies in turning the web into actionable insights. We're currently on an exciting growth journey, scaling rapidly as demand for reliable, high-performance web scraping and data keeps rising. Profile Overview This is the hard end of web scraping. The sites we rely on, Google, Amazon, Walmart and many others, actively work to block us, and they change the rules without warning. We're looking for a senior engineer who can go deep on why we're being blocked, work out how the detection actually functions, and design repeatable ways around it. You'll be joining a self-driven, high-autonomy team to take on our most involved problems, with the room and the trust to build something from close to a blank page: an environment that turns one-off breakthroughs into a methodical, repeatable way of defeating anti-bot systems. If you like confronting problems that genuinely resist you, and you work methodically rather than by trial and error, this is an unusually open brief. Your immediate impact in the first 3-6 months will be: • Getting a full local environment running and becoming fluent in our systems and how they operate, in the first few weeks. • Contributing to a proposal on the design for a repeatable environment we can pose anti-bot problems to and get reliable analysis out of. • Building that environment out over the following months so that, by month six, we can point it at a target or provider and have it reliably tell us how we're being blocked and what is and isn't being used against us. Your responsibilities • Analyse how specific anti-bot and bot-mitigation systems (the likes of DataDome, Cloudflare Turnstile, Kasada, PerimeterX and Akamai) detect and block us, and design systems to work around them. • Turn isolated breakthroughs into durable, repeatable processes: hypothesis, test, discard what's wrong, move on. • In collaboration with other senior team members, design and build a greenfield agentic environment that can propose and run tests on anti-bot behaviour and bypass approaches, and do it in a way that's well understood and repeatable. • Work largely independently on deep, concentrated problems, while actively pulling in knowledge from across the wider engineering team. • Communicate clearly what you plan to do, and step into major incidents when the team needs your depth. What you bring to the table • Deep, genuine understanding of how the internet works underneath: HTTP, TLS and fingerprinting, proxies, headers, cookies, and browser behaviour. This is the core of the role and it isn't something we can shortcut. • Excellent problem-solving built on a scientific, methodical approach: you form a hypothesis, design a test, read the result honestly, and iterate. Trying things at random is the opposite of what this role needs. • Strong hands-on skills in our stack, Node.js and TypeScript with solid Python, and comfort across backend systems at scale (Postgres, Redis/Valkey, MongoDB, Puppeteer/Camoufox, Kubernetes). • Real skill at directing AI coding agents with precision, and the judgement to tell strong output from weak. The specific tool doesn't matter (Claude, Codex or similar); knowing how to steer it well is what counts. • A background that has given you this kind of depth and rigour. That might be scraping, anti-bot or web-security work, reverse engineering, or a research or academic path where you built your own tooling and lived by the scientific method. Direct scraping experience is a strong plus rather than a strict requirement. • Independence and strong communication: you're comfortable owning hard problems in a remote-first team with little hand-holding, and you keep the team in the loop on your thinking as you go. What's in it for you • Ultimate flexibility: We're 100% remote. You can work from wherever you like, whenever you like. • Freedom and autonomy: We're a high-trust team, and you'll be given lots of flexibility to solve problems in your own way, with plenty of help from the team when you need it. • Minimum bureaucracy: We don't like to get bogged down with meetings and red tape. We like to be efficient and keep momentum steady & sustainable. • Small & friendly team: We help each other out, have fun, and joke around. • Our network: We are a community of entrepreneurial SaaS professionals that regularly exchange ideas, knowledge, learning and expertise with each other internally. • Flexible time off: We want you to recharge your batteries when needed. At 1KOMMA5° , we pursue a clear vision: Living on wind and sunlight forever for free . To make this a reality, we are building the energy system of the future with Heartbeat AI. Want to be part of it? We bring together regional craftsmanship and scalable software: We don't think of solar, batteries, heat pumps, and e-mobility as isolated components, but control them as an intelligent, integrated overall system in our virtual power plant. Directly connected to the electricity market – in real time, fully automated. This way, energy is used when it is available from renewables and particularly cost-effective. By 2030, our goal is to transition 1.5 million households to renewable energies. Over 3,000 people are working towards this every day, at more than 80 locations worldwide, from Finland to Australia. Want to take responsibility and build solutions that truly matter? Apply now and help us shape the energy world of tomorrow. Learn more about our Product & Tech team! Deine Position When a branch or market team can’t get something done in our systems, they come to you. Our teams work across a connected landscape of internal tools, from first customer contact through offer and project planning to installation and invoicing. You find out why: is it a bug, a gap in knowledge, or a missing feature? Then you make sure the right fix happens and you stay on it until the user can work again. What you see in the tickets helps us make these systems easier to use. WHAT YOU WILL DO • Support branches and market teams in Germany, Australia, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, the Netherlands and Finland, in German and English • Diagnose each issue and deliver the matching fix: a guide or training for a knowledge gap, a bug report with reproduction steps for Engineering, a feature request with use case and impact for Product • Where a simple automation closes the gap for a bug or a missing feature, you build it yourself. It goes live after a review with Engineering. • Use ticket data and the support metrics we agree on (volume by topic, time to resolution, share of repeat requests) to find where time is lost, and propose changes • Improve our support setup: ticket categories, templates, routing and handover rules • Write and maintain help articles and run onboarding sessions for new users and new markets This role is a good starting point in our tech organisation. You work across the full system landscape and all seven markets, and you learn how Product and Engineering make decisions. From here you can develop in several directions, for example towards product operations, ownership of an internal tool, or automation and engineering. Dein Profil • 1 to 2 years of experience in support, customer success or a similar role. Internships and working student positions count. • German and English at C1 level or higher, written and spoken • Experience with business software, for example a CRM or ticketing system • Good technical understanding of how SaaS tools connect: data fields and objects, user roles and permissions, integrations, APIs and webhooks • A structured way of troubleshooting: you can reproduce an issue, narrow down the cause and describe it so that Engineering can act on it without follow-up questions • Experience in training or onboarding other people, or in building automations with low-code tools (e.g. n8n, windmill). One of the two is enough. • Experience in a startup or scale-up is a plus Benefits • You are part of an international, dynamic, and highly motivated team of people who have proven to make things happen • With your work, you accelerate the "energy transition" and hence have a direct impact on our climate • Work with and learn from other super-smart colleagues • You will enjoy direct contact with core decision-makers • You will enjoy the best chances of entering full-time in one of Europe’s most thriving scaleups • You work remotely (Germany-wide), with offices in Hamburg, Berlin or Munich • Create a healthy balance alongside your work and enjoy all the benefits of the EGYM Wellpass • Benefits and discounts are yours with Futurebens • Whether city bike or e-bike - be flexible with our job bike leasing and do something good for the environment at the same time

JOIN THE TEAM BUILDING AN AI-FIRST COMPANY Hostinger serves more than 5.5 million clients across 150 countries, but we're still excited about what we're creating next. AI is changing how we build products, support customers, work together, and solve problems. It helps us move faster, spend less time on repetitive work, and focus on bigger ideas. If you want your work to influence both what we build and how we build it, we'd like to meet you. Our culture: Guided by 10 company principles https://www.hostinger.com/principles. YOUR ROLE AT HOSTINGER Join Hostinger's Internal Tools team and help us build and run the internal products our colleagues rely on every day. As a Software Engineer (Generalist, PHP and Node), you'll build and maintain features across our PHP and Node.js services, own changes from idea to production, and help make internal tools reliable, secure and easy to use. Your work directly speeds up how teams across Hostinger operate. Curious to learn more? Connect with your team: Dominykas Murauskas, Engineering Manager https://lt.linkedin.com/in/dominykasmurauskas YOUR DAY-TO-DAY • Build with agents, not just autocomplete - you orchestrate agents across specs, code, tests and analysis. You're the builder, and agents write a large share of the code. Reviewing, steering and knowing when to throw their output away is the real skill. • Operate with minimal guidance - you don't wait for perfect specs. You ask the right questions, make reasonable assumptions and ship. • Own problems, not tickets - take a stakeholder problem from idea to production. You define the solution, you ship it, and you measure whether it worked. • Move across the stack - frontend, backend, infra. Wherever the problem lives, that's where you go. • Collaborate directly - work with other stakeholders, managers and engineers in small, autonomous squads. • Improve the system - spot patterns that slow the team down, propose what to delegate to agents, and implement the changes. WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED / YOUR EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE • 2+ years with PHP (Laravel), Node and TypeScript, shipping real products • Production experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases and ORMs, such as Eloquent and TypeORM • Demonstrated experience using AI tools in your daily workflow, such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex. The tooling is provided; you bring the power-user knowledge. • Self-starter mentality: you take ownership, ask good questions and aren't afraid to challenge approaches when something feels off • Strong communicator: you document your work, push back on a bad idea, and explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders • Comfortable with ambiguity: you've worked where the problem was clearer than the solution, and you figured it out • Comfortable working in a Google Cloud environment with Kubernetes, Docker and containerized services. • Familiarity with observability tooling such as Grafana and Prometheus BENEFITS YOU'LL LOVE 360 Growth: We provide limitless learning opportunities https://www.hostinger.com/blog/learning-culture/: access to platforms like Reforge and CoachHub, global conferences, physical and digital libraries, feedback culture https://www.hostinger.com/blog/reaching-your-peak/, and mentoring through TesoXchange https://tesoxchange.com/. Advance your career with internal mobility and grow with a team eager to share knowledge and support your success. Freedom & responsibility: Work on your terms: from modern offices in Kaunas and Vilnius, the comfort of home, or anywhere in the world. Enjoy flexibility in managing your schedule and bring your ideas to life in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Wellness simplified: Your health comes first with insurance from Day 1, gym memberships, recharge leave, Headspace https://www.headspace.com/ subscriptions, and regular health checks. Join our wellbeing-dedicated events, sports, arts, and hobby clubs, or simply enjoy the balance of a lifestyle that prioritizes wellness. Work hard – play hard: Celebrate your achievements with company events like Summerfest https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPnIDaaq0jc & Winterfest https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfytsnQyE2I, Town Hall, Meet the Client initiatives, team-buildings, and workations. Enjoy access to the Žalgiris Arena VIP Lounge and celebrate life’s big moments with milestone gifts for weddings, new parenthood, and graduations. COMPENSATION Compensation from 5000 EUR. Specific compensation is based on experience and competence. — We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us. Please note: some benefits may differ …
