Senior Backend Engineer

T

We are toogeza, a Ukrainian recruiting company that is focused on hiring talents and building teams for tech startups worldwide. People make a difference in the big game, we may help to find the right ones. Currently, we are looking for Senior Backend Engineer for Elva. Location: Remote Job Type: Full-Time ABOUT THE PRODUCT: We’re building an AI-driven video production platform that transforms ideas, references, and media fragments into structured video content. The product uses a multi-agent AI system to handle different stages of the creative process — from content analysis and scripting to editing and video production. It is designed for both professional creators and everyday users, allowing them to go from an initial concept to a finished video with significantly less manual work. ABOUT THE ROLE: We’re looking for an engineer who will help build and scale the core AI infrastructure behind the product. You’ll work on LLM-powered workflows, multi-agent systems, integrations, and backend services that turn user inputs into reliable production pipelines. The role combines hands-on engineering with architectural ownership: designing how agents interact, improving system reliability and performance, and experimenting with new AI capabilities. You’ll work closely with the product team and have significant influence over both the technical architecture and the quality of the final user experience. Our stack: • Python 3.12, FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy 2.0 (async, asyncpg), Alembic • PostgreSQL (Cloud SQL) • Google Cloud: GKE (Kubernetes + Helm), Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Secret Manager • Ory Oathkeeper (API gateway), Centrifugo (real-time), n8n (worker orchestration), KEDA (autoscaling) • Docker, GitHub Actions, Artifact Registry • pytest (asyncio) + Testcontainers • structlog, Google Cloud Monitoring / Logging What we expect: • 5+ years of professional Python development, a solid share of it on an async stack (FastAPI / aiohttp / Starlette); deep understanding of asyncio. • Strong PostgreSQL: schema design, transactions and locking, indexes, slow query analysis. • Experience designing REST APIs and webhook integrations: idempotency, retries, consistent error handling. • Hands-on performance work: profiling, metrics, load testing, and fixing the bottlenecks you find. • Docker as a daily tool; Kubernetes at the "I deploy and debug my own service" level (each service ships its own Helm chart). • A habit of writing tests (unit + integration) and taking features to production end-to-end: from design to monitoring. Nice to have: • GCP experience (or AWS/Azure with willingness to switch to GCP), Terraform. • Mobile app billing: RevenueCat, Paddle, App Store / Google Play subscriptions. • Auth systems: JWT, refresh token rotation, API gateways. • Real-time messaging (WebSocket), workflow orchestration (n8n, Airflow, Temporal, Celery). • BigQuery and analytics pipelines. • Backend experience in mobile products. What’s next? If this role sounds like a fit — we’d love to hear from you! Just send over your CV and anything else you’d like us to consider. We’ll review everything within five working days, and if your background matches what we’re looking for, we’ll get in touch to set up a call and get to know each other better.

Senior/ Principal Technical Marketing Manager for CloudCasa

Remote ✓EN
C

We are looking for an experienced technical marketing manager to own how CloudCasa is explained, demonstrated, and seen in the market. This is a senior individual-contributor role that combines marketing craft with genuine depth in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, storage, and data protection. You will own CloudCasa's technical marketing materials, our joint marketing with technology and channel partners, and the product's visibility across the ecosystem, working closely with product management, engineering, sales, support, customers, and partners. We expect you to develop a clear point of view, make recommendations, and drive decisions forward. CloudCasa is built and marketed by a closely connected cross-functional team, so messaging, priorities, campaigns, and launches are shaped together rather than handed down. The role is hands-on. You should be comfortable moving between customer conversations, writing technical content, building and recording demos, briefing partners and analysts, launch planning, and installing and testing the product yourself. At Principal level, we would also expect you to strengthen technical marketing practice across the team and to mentor colleagues. What You'll Do: • Own CloudCasa's technical marketing materials end to end: solution briefs, whitepapers, reference architectures, technical blogs, competitive comparisons, demo scripts, videos, and web content. • Translate the product's capabilities into messaging and positioning that resonates with platform engineers, Kubernetes administrators, backup and storage architects, and the executives who fund them. • Build and maintain a technical demo and proof-of-concept library, including recorded demos, hands-on labs, and reproducible test scenarios for backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and migration. • Own joint marketing with technology partners such as cloud providers, Kubernetes platform vendors, and storage vendors, covering co-branded assets, joint solution briefs, marketplace listings, webinars, and partner-facing enablement. • Work with distributors, resellers, and MSPs on partner-ready collateral, campaign material, and technical training so they can position and sell CloudCasa credibly. • Drive brand visibility across the board: conference talks and booth content, community and open-source engagement, analyst and press briefings, awards and review programs, and CloudCasa's presence on the web, in search, and on social channels. • Work with product management and engineering on launches, including release messaging, launch assets, documentation input, enablement for sales and support, and post-launch evaluation of what landed. • Stay close to customers and the market through discovery conversations, architecture reviews, support escalations, partner discussions, and active sales opportunities, so that our material reflects the problems customers actually have. • Maintain competitive intelligence on the Kubernetes data protection and enterprise backup market, and turn it into positioning, battlecards, and comparison material the field can use. • Agree with stakeholders on the metrics that indicate whether awareness, engagement, pipeline contribution, and partner-sourced activity are improving, and use content and campaign data to decide where to invest next. • At Principal level, mentor colleagues and improve how we approach messaging, content production, launches, and partner marketing. What We Look For: Required Experience • Approximately eight or more years in technical marketing, product marketing, developer relations, solutions architecture, sales engineering, or a related technical role, in infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise software. • A track record of owning technical content end to end, from customer problem through published asset, demo, or campaign. • Strong practical knowledge of Kubernetes, including clusters, manifests, pods, controllers, logs, CRDs, operators, RBAC, persistent volumes, storage classes, and CSI drivers. • Hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including its managed Kubernetes and storage services. • Hands-on ability to install, configure, and demonstrate infrastructure software yourself, and to build repeatable demo environments. • Credibility with engineers and technical audiences, including the ability to follow architecture and design discussions and to convert complex technical and customer input into material that is clear and accurate. • Strong writing across solution briefs, whitepapers, technical blogs, reference architectures, and positioning documents. • The ability to evaluate competing views, build alignment between stakeholders, and move decisions forward without relying on organizational authority. • Experience presenting and running technical discussions with customers, partners, analysts, and sales teams, including webinars or public speaking. • Excellent written and spoken English. …

Join the team building an AI-first company. Hostinger serves more than 5.5 million clients across 150 countries, but we're still excited about what we're creating next. AI is changing how we build products, support customers, work together, and solve problems. It helps us move faster, spend less time on repetitive work, and focus on bigger ideas. If you want your work to influence both what we build and how we build it, we'd like to meet you. Our culture: Guided by 10 company principles https://www.hostinger.com/principles YOUR ROLE AT HOSTINGER As Engineering Director, you'll report directly to our VP of Engineering and work closely with our Head of Delivery, owning an important “Shared Services / Platform” area of our product department. You will be expected to raise the bar for how teams are run, and take direct ownership of teams and problems as they're handed to you. The “Shared Services / Platform” area consists of PHP (Laravel/Symfony) and Vue.js-heavy teams such as: Websites, Billing, Payments, Platform, and Internal Tools. The teams ensure we deliver shared capabilities once, enable and unblock our colleagues and commercial product teams to move faster. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY • Hire, coach, mentor, and grow Engineering Managers and Tech Leads, helping them raise their own ambitions rather than settle for "business as usual" • Take direct ownership of underperforming teams or unresolved problems - roll up your sleeves and fix them yourself when needed. • Champion a "you build it, you own it" culture: full accountability from writing code through production - observability, incident response, postmortems, and learning from failure. • Partner with stakeholders across the business - product, other engineering leaders, and cross-functional partners - to make sure the right problems get addressed, not just the loudest ones. • Bring clarity and structure to a fast-moving, sometimes ambiguous environment, without slowing it down. • Champion AI-assisted engineering across your teams, and help close any gaps in AI adoption. • Help define how outcome and impact - not just output - gets measured and communicated for platform and internal-facing teams, where the connection to revenue isn't always obvious. YOUR EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE • 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience. • A track record of building and owning products and services in production over the long run. • Real comfort with, or strong openness to, PHP (Laravel/Symfony), Python, Node.JS http://node.js, GO, and/or Vue.js - true generalists who can pick up any stack, with the help of AI tools, tend to thrive here. • Genuine, active enthusiasm for AI-assisted engineering; you're expected to pull your teams forward on adoption, not catch up to them. • Comfort operating with ambiguity, evolving processes, and fast-changing priorities. • A resilient, self-directed way of working - this is a senior, largely independent role without a large peer group at the same level. • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to give and take direct feedback. • Experience scaling up from a smaller company or startup is a plus, as is a background in digital, consumer-facing (B2C) product companies. • Excellent communication skills in English. BENEFITS YOU'LL LOVE 360° Growth: You'll never stop learning here. Get access to Reforge https://www.reforge.com/ and CoachHub, go to global conferences, and borrow from our physical and digital libraries. Depending on your location, you can mentor or be mentored through TesoXchange https://tesoxchange.com/. People give each other open feedback https://www.hostinger.com/blog/reaching-your-peak/, share what they know https://www.hostinger.com/blog/learning-culture/, and take on new projects as their skills grow. Freedom & responsibility: Work where you do your best work: our offices in Vilnius, Kaunas, Jakarta, or Luxembourg, your home, or anywhere in the world. You plan your own day and own your results, and good ideas go live fast. Wellness simplified: Your wellbeing comes first. You get time off to recharge, a Headspace https://www.headspace.com/ subscription, and events focused on wellbeing. Depending on your location, you also get health insurance from day one, a gym membership, regular health checks, and clubs for sports, arts, and hobbies. Account Executive, UK & Western Europe

Remote ✓EN
V

The Company Versaterm is a PE-backed, high-growth SaaS company building a fully integrated platform across the entire public safety ecosystem — dispatch, law enforcement, forensics, courts, and beyond . We've grown through strategic acquisitions and deep product investment. What connects all of it is a single purpose: give public safety agencies the tools and insights to make better decisions in high-stakes moments. When a 911 call is answered, a detective investigates a case, or a forensic lab processes evidence, there's a good chance our software is working behind the scenes. That's been true for over four decades. AI is central to where we're going. Not as a feature but as core infrastructure. We're embedding intelligence directly into the workflows our customers rely on every day, and we're doing it alongside them. Our customers tell us what the mission demands. We build what answers it. This work attracts a specific kind of person — someone who wants to be pushed by great people, build things that outlast a sprint cycle, and go home knowing the work connected back to something real. The Role The Account Executive, UK & Western Europe is responsible for driving revenue growth and territory expansion for the Versaterm product ecosystem as Versaterm enters the UK and Western Europe market. This is a remote role, reporting to the Director, Speciality Markets with up to 40–60% international travel. The Account Executive leads the full sales cycle from prospecting to close while applying advanced sales methodologies to ensure accurate deal qualification and progression and looks for opportunities to cross-sell other Versaterm products into new and existing accounts. This role requires deep product expertise, disciplined execution, and the ability to influence decision-makers at multiple organizational levels across public safety agencies. This job posting is being used to fill an existing vacancy. What You Do • Own revenue objectives for the Versaterm product ecosystem across the UK and Western Europe, with responsibility for pipeline creation, forecasting, and closing new business. • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, solution presentation, negotiation, and close. • Build and execute territory and account plans that prioritize high-impact public safety agencies and scalable segments. • Engage executive and operational stakeholders — Police, Fire, EMS, Emergency Management, command staff, IT, procurement, and public safety technology leadership — translating mission needs into measurable value and outcomes. • Identify and pursue cross-sell and whitespace opportunities across Versaterm's broader product portfolio within new and existing accounts. • Develop regional pipeline and partnerships, including resellers, integrators, and technology ecosystem partners, and build local market awareness through events and community engagement. • Collaborate with Marketing to refine regional messaging and create market-specific campaign opportunities. • Partner with Solutions Engineering to deliver executive-level demos, evaluations, and ROI narratives. • Work with Customer Success to ensure onboarding success and identify expansion opportunities. • Provide market feedback to Product and Leadership to guide roadmap priorities for the UK and Western Europe. • Maintain clean Salesforce and Gong hygiene and accurate pipeline reporting. • Represent Versaterm at public safety events, conferences, and field demos across the region. What You Bring • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 5-7 years of experience in enterprise or strategic sales (SaaS, public safety tech, GovTech, or mission-critical systems), with proven success building new markets or territories and driving net-new logo acquisition. • Experience managing complex sales cycles and influencing executive-level stakeholders, including in public sector / government procurement environments; UK or Western European experience strongly preferred. • Strong business acumen, consultative selling skills, and territory/account mapping ability. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with strong executive presence. • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize effectively in ambiguous, startup-style environments while building structure and delivering results. • High level of discipline in pipeline management and forecasting. • Collaborative mindset with a focus on team success, including surfacing cross-sell and whitespace opportunities. • Ability to travel internationally as needed (40–60%). • Familiarity with public safety software ecosystems (e.g., CAD, RMS, evidence management, or drone operations platforms) and understanding of UK/EU public sector procurement and regulatory environments is a plus. Due to the nature of our work with public safety agencies, this position may be subject to background screening, …
