ABOUT DASH0 Join Dash0 and help us define the future of observability. We are OpenTelemetry-native, building a delightful, simple, and AI-centric platform that eliminates vendor lock-in and meaningless toil. Shape a product developers love, with transparent pricing and built-in cost control. THE OPPORTUNITY We've just closed our Series B at unicorn valuation and we're scaling fast. This is a rare opportunity to step in as our first frontline sales leader on the ground, build out our EMEA footprint, close strategic enterprise accounts, and establish the playbook for our next phase of hypergrowth. We are fundamentally changing how engineering teams work—and you'll be leading from the front line. As our first lead in this position, you are an absolute doer with a fierce winning mindset. Reporting directly to the VP Enterprise Sales EMEA, you will take hands-on operational leadership of our first cohort of Enterprise AEs covering our primary growth markets: Nordics & UKI. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Frontline Leadership & Team Building: Lead our initial Enterprise AEs across Nordics and UKI by example. Drive a clear ramp-to-results culture, actively coach your team in the field, and instill an unrelenting ambition to win. • Hands-on Deal Closing: Stay close to the metal. You won't hesitate to jump into the trenches to co-sell, guide multi-stakeholder strategy, and personally cross the finish line on six-figure+ enterprise deals. • Playbook & Category Creation: Partner directly with the VP Enterprise Sales EMEA to shape the regional GTM playbook—building out the value proposition for an emerging product, defining the ICP, and creating a repeatable enterprise sales motion. • Rigorous Forecasting: Set the standard for pipeline transparency, deal discipline, and forecast accuracy across your territories. • Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner seamlessly with Sales Development, Marketing, and Customer Solution to land key logos and execute land-and-expand strategies. WHO YOU ARE • The Pioneer / Builder: You thrive in early-stage environments where there is no established brand recognition. You know how to create urgency, educate technical buyers, and build a category from scratch. • Technical Credibility: You are deeply comfortable in the developer and engineering ecosystem. You hold authoritative, peer-level conversations with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, SRE leads, and Platform Engineers. • Hands-on Frontline Leader: You bring high execution energy and zero ego. You prefer leading from the field alongside your reps rather than managing strictly from behind a dashboard. • Enterprise Deal Architect: You excel at navigating complex, six-figure+ deal structures with long evaluation cycles, multiple technical decision-makers, and stringent security reviews. QUALIFICATIONS • 7+ years of Enterprise B2B Sales experience with a proven track record selling complex developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or technical engineering platforms. • Demonstrated experience managing, leading, or mentoring AEs, backed by a consistent track record of exceeding substantial enterprise quotas in EMEA (specifically UKI and Nordics). • Proven success selling an unknown or emerging product into technical enterprise buyers (0-to-1 or early growth stages). • Fluent English (Nordic languages are a plus). BONUS POINTS • Background in open-source software (OSS), developer infrastructure, or developer-led GTM motions. • Experience scaling a frontline sales team in early hypergrowth (Series A through Series C). • An established network of engineering and platform leaders across UKI and the Nordics. Maintain supply-chain scanning tooling and its severity-classification configuration. Define and enforce remediation SLAs. • Own cloud security across multiple providers. AWS, GCP, and Azure hardening, logging, and service-account governance. • Own Kubernetes and service-mesh security. Operate the service mesh and maintain the policy-as-code rollout so that policy is enforced automatically. • Audit and secure infrastructure in newly added environments. Review build pipelines and infrastructure in newer parts of the business as they come online, and remediate findings. • Contribute to security architecture and design review. Review new integrations and internal systems, including AI agents running in production, for security risk. • Support workforce and endpoint security. Contribute to VDI and browser-isolation initiatives as the program matures. • Use agentic tooling in your workflow. Use coding agents for first-pass review of infrastructure-as-code, container configuration, and cloud policy, verifying findings against source configuration before acting on them. Key Priorities for the First 6 Months The first six months focus on establishing full ownership of infrastructure and vulnerability management. • Weeks 1–2 - Onboard to the cloud environment, Kubernetes architecture, and existing security tooling. • Month 1 - Establish ownership of the vulnerability-management process; findings triaged and remediated on a defined cadence. • Month 2 - Complete configuration of supply-chain scanning tooling; implement automated image scanning and patching; deploy initial policy-as-code rules. • Month 3 - Complete policy-as-code rollout in at least one environment; begin infrastructure audits in newly added environments. • Month 4 - Close outstanding cloud logging and service-account gaps; establish and enforce a documented multi-cloud hardening baseline. • Months 5–6 - Full ownership of infrastructure and cloud security as a domain; independently deliver security-architecture design reviews. Core Tech Stack Kubernetes and service mesh, policy-as-code tooling (Kyverno/OPA), Terraform, AWS/GCP/Azure, vulnerability-management and supply-chain scanning platforms, container tooling, CI/CD, and Git. Detections and access rules are managed as code through pull requests. Familiarity with coding/agentic tools for infrastructure review is expected. What We Evaluate • Production experience hardening cloud infrastructure - IAM, logging, service accounts, network security, on at least one major cloud provider (multi-cloud experience is a plus). • Kubernetes and container security - service mesh (Cilium, Istio, or similar) and policy-as-code (Kyverno, OPA, or similar). • Vulnerability-management experience - SCA/SAST tooling and SLA-driven remediation practice. • Fluency with coding agents - experience using agentic tools for infrastructure-as-code review or investigation work, and verifying their output. • Ability to work independently at a senior level - defining scope and priorities without detailed direction. • Clear written and verbal communication - able to run design reviews and communicate risk to engineers and leadership. Elastic, the Search AI Company, enables everyone to find the answers they need in real time, using all their data, at scale — unleashing the potential of businesses and people. The Elastic Search AI Platform, used by more than 50% of the Fortune 500, brings together the precision of search and the intelligence of AI to enable everyone to accelerate the results that matter. By taking advantage of all structured and unstructured data — securing and protecting private information more effectively — Elastic’s complete, cloud-based solutions for search, security, and observability help organizations deliver on the promise of AI. What Is the Role We are on the lookout for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Elasticsearch team and focus on ensuring that the shared platform functionalities of Elasticsearch are easy to use, performant, maintainable, and secure. The team’s mission is to create foundational infrastructure and shared functionality that enables engineers to develop, extend, and support Elasticsearch. The team owns common functionality such as services, settings, and scripting, and makes Elasticsearch extensible through plugins or the Painless scripting language. The team also makes Elasticsearch observable by providing logging and telemetry information. We also own the orchestration of Elasticsearch in serverless, the CI/CD workflows, and enable Elasticsearch developers to deliver Elasticsearch to customers - serverless, cloud, and on-premise alike. You will be a strong individual contributor on the team, but you will also contribute to and lead cross-team projects. We need someone who has great design skills, who can work at a low level of abstraction but can equally drive and communicate technical concepts across a variety of collaborators. What You Will Be Doing • Contributing to large, impactful projects that evolve the core infrastructure that underpins Elasticsearch. • Making Elasticsearch developers more productive by identifying and developing opportunities for automation, and integrating agentic apps into development workflows. • Designing and implementing new horizontally-scalable features and APIs in Elasticsearch. • Solving difficult issues, including performance or concurrency issues, and proposing solutions. • Improving operation and observability of Elasticsearch cloud systems. • Collaborating in the open with the ES team, Elastic users, and other supporting open source projects. • Supporting our support engineers with the harder problems. • Owning operational investigations end-to-end, until performance or stability issues are successfully resolved. What You Bring • Experience crafting APIs and the ability to reason through tradeoffs. • Proficient in algorithms and data structures. • You have strong skills in core Java and are conversant in the standard library of data structures and concurrency constructs, as well as newer language features. • Experience with low-level Java such as concurrency, parallelism, classloaders, etc. • Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and practices (Buildkite, Argo CD, GitOps etc). • Experience leading large scale projects across engineering teams. • Willingness to dive into new issues and ask for help when you need it. • You are able to own projects from beginning to end. This covers both technical design and working with others to develop needed components. • You have a proven track record of using AI to accelerate development, debug complex systems, and optimize code, while still owning the final outcomes. • You possess the ability to collaborate across functions and teams and seamlessly transition between different projects, codebases, or teams based on business priorities • You can work autonomously, drive decisions and results in a distributed team by leveraging asynchronous, direct, and transparent communication. Bonus Points • Knowledge of JDK internals: modules, the Java memory model, garbage collection, database load, caching techniques, etc. • Experience with observability and telemetry solutions, particularly OpenTelemetry • Knowledge of Go • Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes • Knowledge of Java build tools (Gradle, Maven, etc), with a strong preference for Gradle experience. • Experience working in a platform team or developer productivity team Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component. At Elastic, our compensation philosophy aims to provide fair, competitive and transparent remuneration. Salary ranges are established based on a combination of external market benchmarks, internal pay equity considerations, and the responsibilities and complexity associated with each role. This approach helps ensure consistency across comparable roles while remaining competitive within the relevant labour markets. JOIN THE TEAM BUILDING AN AI-FIRST COMPANY Hostinger serves more than 5.5 million clients across 150 countries, but we're still excited about what we're creating next. AI is changing how we build products, support customers, work together, and solve problems. It helps us move faster, spend less time on repetitive work, and focus on bigger ideas. If you want your work to influence both what we build and how we build it, we'd like to meet you. Our culture: Guided by 10 company principles https://www.hostinger.com/principles. YOUR ROLE AT HOSTINGER You'll own how 5M+ existing customers experience Hostinger across email, SMS, WhatsApp and in-product messaging - from first purchase through onboarding, engagement, cross-sell, upgrade and renewal. Braze and Vonage are already in place. The team is six strong. Our agents already launch campaigns. You'll need a strong vision on what’s next and the ability to drive the change. You know what a strong lifecycle and data setup looks like and you'll build it with Data and Engineering. Email carries most of our volume today, which suits some markets and underserves others. You’ll build a deliberate mix and scale what works. This role fits two kinds of leaders. We're excited about both: • Lifecycle leader - you've run lifecycle, CRM or retention at scale and want an environment where you can build anything you want rather than maintain existing setups. • Product marketing leader or startup CMO - you've owned the commercial story end-to-end and the existing-customer side is where you want to go deeper next. This is a specialist team, and leading specialists at Hostinger means being able to do the work - you'd rather build and ship than direct from the sidelines. You'll have the agency to change whatever you think should change. Seniority here is the scope and complexity of what you own, not the size of your org chart. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY • Make strategic decisions that drive domain portfolio growth, customer satisfaction, and cross-product attachment rates at scale, across a portfolio of nearly 10 million domains. • Translate market insights and business strategy into detailed product requirements and prototypes. • Scope and prioritize features and offers based on registrar operations, customer needs, and integration opportunities with hosting, website builder, email, and other services. • Ensure roadmap transparency by providing constant updates on development progress. • Act as the customer advocate by understanding domain buyers' journey and identifying natural expansion touchpoints. • Work closely with registry partners and internal teams to maximize customer lifetime value through strategic service bundling. • Monitor industry trends, ICANN policies, and new TLD launches while identifying growth opportunities. WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED • You've led a lifecycle, retention or product marketing team at scale, and you've developed people rather than just managed them. • You already work AI-first. You're applying AI to content, personalization, segmentation or decisioning today, and you have a view on where it goes next - conviction, not curiosity. • You're deep on data - cohorts, funnels, experiment design - and you can tell a real result from a flattering one. • You hold your ground with senior stakeholders who push hard, and you do it with evidence rather than volume. • Email is a channel you've owned end-to-end. SMS and WhatsApp are a strong bonus, not a requirement. • Strong commercial mindset - you understand how retention activity connects to revenue, margin, LTV, and sustainable growth • A high sense of ownership - you drive projects from concept to shipped, and you'd rather do it than delegate it. • Existing users are where you want to spend the next chapter of your career - expansion and retention, not acquisition. BENEFITS YOU'LL LOVE 360° Growth: You'll never stop learning here. Get access to Reforge https://www.reforge.com/ and CoachHub, go to global conferences, and borrow from our physical and digital libraries. Depending on your location, you can mentor or be mentored through TesoXchange https://tesoxchange.com/. People give each other open feedback https://www.hostinger.com/blog/reaching-your-peak/, share what they know https://www.hostinger.com/blog/learning-culture/, and take on new projects as their skills grow. Freedom & responsibility: Work where you do your best work: our offices in Vilnius, Kaunas, Jakarta, or Luxembourg, your home, or anywhere in the world. You plan your own day and own your results, and good ideas go live fast. Wellness simplified: Your wellbeing comes first. You get time off to recharge, a Headspace https://www.headspace.com/ subscription, and events focused on wellbeing. Depending on your location, you also get health insurance from day one, a gym membership, regular health checks, and clubs for sports, arts, and hobbies. Work hard – play hard: We celebrate …
