Head of Product, AI Enablement (f/m/d)

RemoteEN
A

Purpose of Position Own the product agenda for how AI creates real, measurable value across Awin — translating AI capability into shipped product outcomes, not experiments. Context Thousands of advertisers and publishers who stay on Awin platform because of the people and product behind the service. The next chapter of Awin's product strategy is defined by how deliberately we put AI to work — not as a slogan, but as a set of practical capabilities embedded into what we build and how the business runs. Most companies treat AI as a layer bolted onto existing product thinking. We want the opposite: a Head of Product who treats AI as core to the product strategy itself — where it belongs, what it should never touch, and how it compounds value over time rather than producing one-off wins. What you'll own • Product strategy for AI-driven value. Define where AI genuinely changes the economics or experience of our product — and where it doesn't. Prioritise like a product leader: value creation and value capture, not novelty. • Translate capability into roadmap. Convert what AI can practically do today into a prioritised, sequenced product agenda with clear outcomes — not a lab of disconnected pilots. • Own outcomes, not outputs. Every initiative under your remit is judged on measurable business impact — adoption, efficiency, revenue, or customer outcome — not on whether something "uses AI." • Partner at exec level. Work directly with leadership to align AI investment with company priorities, and defend that investment in commercial terms. • Lead a product team. Hire and develop the product talent needed to execute — with real ownership over people and budget. • Set the standard for build vs. buy. Make disciplined calls on when to adopt existing AI tooling versus build proprietary capability, with opportunity cost as the deciding factor. • Champion practical adoption over theatre. Internal and external users are your test of success — if a capability isn't used, it isn't done. Who you are • Product leader with technical fluency. You've run product organisations and you understand, in practical terms, where AI creates leverage versus where it's a distraction. • Outcome-obsessed. You think in business impact first, technology second. • Commercially sharp. You can defend a roadmap in P&L terms as comfortably as in a product review. • Credible with engineering. You can go deep enough on data, APIs, and model capability to make good calls, without needing to be the one building it. • A builder of teams, not just plans — you know how to hire and develop product talent that ships. What success looks like • A clear, prioritised AI product agenda in place; first initiatives shipped with measurable adoption. • A functioning product team; multiple AI-enabled capabilities live and driving demonstrable business outcomes. • AI is a defining, differentiated part of Awin's product experience — not a side initiative, but core to how the product wins in market. What this role is not Not an automation function. Not a central bureaucracy that runs projects for other teams. Not a lab for AI experimentation without a business case. This is a product leadership role — where AI is the primary lens, not a side interest. Our Offer • Flexi-Week : We prioritise your mental health and wellbeing by offering you a four-day Flexi-Week (with one lighter or completely disconnected day per week) at full pay, with no reduction to your annual holiday allowance. • Flexi-office : We offer an international culture and flexibility through our hybrid/remote working scheme which is designed to foster a culture of mutual trust and working flexibility. • Work Expense Contribution & Remote Working Furniture : You will receive a monthly allowance to cover part of your running costs, as well as a furniture package to support you in setting up a comfortable workspace when working from home. • Health and Wellbeing : With our support and access to various initiatives and sports offers, you can focus on your mental and physical wellbeing. • Development : We’ve built our extensive training suite, Awin Academy, to cover a wide range of skills that support your professional and personal growth, with trainings conveniently packaged to help your overall development. • Appreciation : Thank and reward colleagues by sending them a voucher through our peer-to-peer recognition programme. We are hiring in multiple countries for this role. Additional benefits, including health and wellbeing offerings, will be discussed during the initial interview. Established in 2000, Awin is proud of our dynamic, social and inclusive culture. Like all businesses, we’ve had to adapt and nurture our culture in a virtual environment. Our virtual ‘Life @ Awin’ hub brings our colleagues from across the globe together for various social activities. Standout Qualities: • Demonstrated success hiring, developing, and retaining high‑performing engineers. • Examples of effective communication: presentations, roadmap updates, etc. – targeting the entire team or stakeholders. • Established practice of using data and analytics to make informed decisions and measure outcomes. • Proven ability to introduce process improvements, challenge the status quo, and drive innovation within constraints. • Hands‑on use of AI/automation tools to streamline workflows and increase team productivity. • Ability to influence without authority and build trust across engineering, product, design, and business stakeholders. Team Dynamics: You will lead a cross-functional team of software engineers and work in close partnership with a dedicated Product Manager and Designer as an integrated “triad.” You’ll collaborate regularly with other product teams, platform/service owners, and cross‑functional stakeholders across the organization. We're building a new global Berlitz, and this is your opportunity to help shape it. Nearly 150 years of expertise, meeting the ambition and technology to power a new era of learning. If you are the kind of person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, isn’t afraid of a blank page, and is excited to help shape the future of a global company undergoing a significant transformation, you might belong at Berlitz! What You'll Own • The website, GEO, and the acquisition funnel, for the Career Professionals (individual, B2P) and Self Serve Employers (under 250 employees, under roughly $20,000 a year, no salesperson) segments specifically. • Self-serve conversion, from first visit through signup, upgrade, and, eventually, the point where an account outgrows self-serve and hands off to the Assisted tier. • The B2P and SMB messaging, in practice, not just in the shared Messaging Framework, this is the one seat that gets to see directly whether that messaging actually converts. What Success Looks Like • A defensible, evidence-backed answer to the LTV:CAC question this seat's own existence is gated on. • A written, documented Critical User Journey for the self-serve signup and upgrade path, which currently doesn't exist anywhere in the registry, despite being arguably the easiest journey in the company to document precisely, since nobody has to be interviewed to understand it. • Growth in self-serve revenue that either justifies this becoming a permanent Senior PM seat, or, just as validly, a clear, honest case that it shouldn't. What We're Looking For • Real self-serve growth experience.Funnel optimization, conversion, GEO, and a track record of moving a number without a sales team's help. • Comfort being precise about what the product actually does. The current messaging pillar "one system, individual to enterprise" is accurate for the core learner product but not for Command, since Self Serve Employers get no Command at all. You'll need to hold that distinction in your own funnel copy rather than overclaim it. • A bias toward writing things down. This seat starts with more open whitespace, no CUJ, no dedicated pod, than almost any other seat in the org, and the person who takes it will be building the paper trail as much as the funnel. At Berlitz, connecting people across languages and cultures is at the heart of what we do. Our global workplace reflects the diverse world we serve, bringing together different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. We create an inclusive environment where everyone has an equal opportunity to belong, contribute and grow. Ready to shape what’s next? Join us and help build the future with us.
