At ClickUp, we're building the future of work: the first truly converged AI workspace unifying tasks, docs, chat, calendar, and enterprise search, all supercharged by context-driven AI. We are an AI-native company. Every team member is expected to leverage AI daily, and we evaluate AI fluency as part of our hiring process. Join us and help redefine what's possible. The role ClickUp's Cloud Platform team builds scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS infrastructure, with a heavy focus on Amazon EKS, that stays ahead of product and enterprise growth. Our goal: product velocity is never blocked by platform constraints. As a Senior Software Engineer, you leverage AI to design, build, and operate the compute, networking, and infrastructure-as-code foundation that powers ClickUp for millions of users. What you'll do • Build and scale AWS infrastructure and reusable platform abstractions that simplify development, with a strong focus on Amazon EKS, networking, and self-hosted services. • Identify improvement opportunities and emerging risks, and propose novel solutions that improve reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency before constraints become blockers. • Automate shard buildouts and implement Terraform guardrails and hardened ingress that reduce incidents. • Scale systems for multi-shard, multi-region growth while meeting compliance attestations (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc), disaster recovery, and enterprise security requirements. • Partner with SRE, Security, product, AI, and enterprise teams to bridge infrastructure and product engineering. • Own the reliability of Cloud Platform itself: on-call, incident response, postmortems, runbooks, and prevention. • Use AI tooling daily to accelerate development, testing, IaC, operations, and investigations, and help the team raise its AI leverage. What we're looking for • 6+ years building and operating large-scale distributed systems with a focus on infrastructure and cloud, especially compute foundations. • Deep, hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting Kubernetes in production, including control-plane, node, and networking issues, ideally Amazon EKS at fleet scale. • Strong AWS experience: EKS, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC networking, IAM, S3, KMS. Bedrock is a plus. • Multi-account AWS (20+ accounts) experience, including Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, VPC routing, DNS, and load balancing. • Infrastructure-as-code at scale with Terraform (CDK experience is a plus). • Fluent coding in at least one language (Go, Python, or TypeScript/Node.js preferred). • Experience with hybrid monolith/microservices architectures. • Experience operating data stores at scale, such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, and Redis/Valkey. • Track record of improving infrastructure reliability and efficiency and implementing security guardrails. • Strong production debugging across application and infrastructure boundaries, clear written communication, and effective cross-functional collaboration. • Daily AI user with concrete examples of how AI supercharged your engineering workflow. ABOUT CANALS Canals builds software for wholesale distributors, helping them operate more efficiently through automation and AI. Our customers are the companies responsible for moving the materials that power the real economy; electrical supplies, plumbing products, roofing materials, HVAC equipment, and more. Every day, thousands of people rely on Canals to help process orders, manage purchasing, handle accounts payable, and streamline critical business workflows. We're a profitable, rapidly growing company with a team of roughly 140 people distributed across North and South America. We care deeply about building great products, hiring exceptional people, and creating an environment where talented individuals can do the best work of their careers. THE ROLE We’re hiring an Implementation Engineer for ERP integrations to help customers connect their ERP systems — including Eclipse, P21, and Infor — with Canals. You’ll play a central role in onboarding and implementation: configuring integrations, validating data flows, and becoming an expert in how Canals interacts with distributor ERPs. You’ll support customers both pre-sale and post-sale, joining technical discovery calls when ERP-specific guidance is needed and owning the hands-on integration work once a customer signs. This role reports to our Head of Implementation, Riker Morss https://www.linkedin.com/in/riker-morss-01373a130/. This is a technical, customer-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how systems communicate and wants to build deep expertise in the ERP ecosystem. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Implement integrations between Canals and integration partners, including ERPs (Eclipse, P21, Infor, SAP, Acumatica), using standardized templates and API credentials • Become an ERP subject-matter expert, understanding how each system handles data, access, authentication, and configuration. • Join pre-sale discovery calls to evaluate feasibility and answer ERP-specific technical questions. • Lead post-sale integration work: collect access details, configure endpoints, run tests on APIs to establish new data integrations, and validate end-to-end data flow. • Troubleshoot integration issues, escalating to the Lead Support Engineer or Engineering when needed. • Participate in customer onboarding and go-live calls as the technical owner of the integration process. • Document integration steps, ERP nuances, and repeatable best practices for internal and customer use. • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering to ensure each integration goes live smoothly. • Occasionally cover on support (Zendesk) as needed. WHAT YOU’LL BRING • Typically, 2–4 years in a technical implementation, technical account management, integrations, or customer engineering role at a SaaS company • Excitement to work directly with customers, managing implementations and troubleshooting integration issues • Familiarity with APIs, REST endpoints, authentication methods, and JSON payloads • Experience with ERPs or a strong desire to learn systems like Eclipse, P21, and Infor in depth • Strong communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users • Excellent organization and project management abilities • Comfort working in a fast-moving, fully remote environment with high ownership • English proficiency required; Spanish or Portuguese a plus WHY JOIN CANALS We're building software that solves real problems for an industry that keeps the world running. Our customers rely on our platform every day to operate their businesses. We've found strong product-market fit and continue to grow quickly, creating opportunities for people who want to have a meaningful impact on the trajectory of a company. We believe great people build great companies. That's why we invest heavily in hiring, development, and creating an environment where talented individuals can do the best work of their careers. You'll work alongside ambitious, thoughtful teammates who care deeply about what they do, challenge each other directly, and have a lot of fun along the way. We value ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement. Good ideas can come from anywhere, and people are trusted to make things happen. We're remote-first, flexible, and distributed across North and South America, bringing together talented people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Product Designer, AI-Native Products (Staff-Level / L6)

RemoteEN
S

Synthesia is the world’s leading AI video platform for business, used by over 90% of the Fortune 100. Founded in 2017, the company is headquartered in London, with offices and teams across Europe and the US. As AI continues to shape the way we live and work, Synthesia develops products to enhance visual communication and enterprise skill development, helping people work better and stay at the center of successful organizations. Following our recent Series E funding round, where we raised $200 million, our valuation stands at $4 billion. Our total funding exceeds $530 million from premier investors including Accel, NVentures (Nvidia's VC arm), Kleiner Perkins, GV, and Evantic Capital, alongside the founders and operators of Stripe, Datadog, Miro, and Webflow. THE ROLE: We're looking for a Staff (L6) Product Designer to lead design for some of Synthesia's AI-native, agentic Sessions product surfaces. Sessions are the experiences where employees learn through conversation, companies lrun a survey at scale, and AI becomes a direct participant in how work gets done - not just a tool behind the scenes. This area is central to redefining what a video platform can be: moving upstream from content creation into workforce development, and making complex AI capabilities feel natural, trustworthy, and effective for everyday users. You'll operate as a senior IC: setting direction, influencing roadmap decisions, shaping bets with Product and Engineering leaders, and raising the craft bar. In practice, this role is about solving AI-native design problems, for example: • Designing real-time, conversational avatar experiences that feel engaging and natural - not robotic or gimmicky - for employees learning and practising skills at work. • Creating interaction patterns for AI-driven workflows that give users the right amount of control, transparency, and trust without overwhelming them with complexity. • Improving output quality through better structure, guidance, and feedback loops - helping users understand what the AI is doing, catch issues early, and iterate with confidence. • Working at the frontier where AI changes what "interaction" means, and the best patterns are genuinely still being invented. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: • Own major AI-native bets end-to-end, from problem framing to shipped outcomes and iteration. • Set a design vision for our "Sessions" surface, and influence adjacent product areas to stay coherent. • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to define what "great" looks like (principles, quality bar, success metrics) and then drive toward it. • Prototype and test interaction models quickly - including novel agentic and conversational patterns - and know when high-fidelity matters. • Raise the bar on craft: interaction design, UI quality, systems thinking, and consistency across AI-native experiences. YOU SHOULD APPLY IF YOU BRING: • Significant experience designing complex, high-usage product surfaces - ideally including AI-native products, agentic features, conversational interfaces, or products where the system takes meaningful autonomous action. • Strong craft in interaction design and visual design, and a track record of shipping work that measurably improves the product experience. • Comfort operating in ambiguity: you can turn unclear and fast-moving problem spaces into crisp direction, and you do not wait for perfect clarity. • Systems thinking: you understand how AI capabilities, model constraints, and product architecture shape what's actually possible in the UX - not just what looks good on a screen. • Excellent communication in design reviews and cross-functional decision-making contexts. • Experience designing workflows where trust, transparency, and user control are central - helping users feel confident in AI-driven outputs rather than confused or excluded. • A track record of tackling novel problems in maturing product spaces, and shaping the product from early-stage bets through to execution. • The ability to leverage feedback from users and customers to ensure the product continues to meet real needs - including enterprise users with high stakes around quality, compliance, and scale. AT SYNTHESIA WE EXPECT EVERYONE TO: • Put the Customer First • Own it & Go Direct • Be Fast & Experimental • Make the Journey Fun You can read more about this in this public Notion page: https://synthesia.notion.site/How-we-work-at-Synthesia-f794caa72f8446efb6be22b551ce0fa2 BENEFITS • A flexible, remote friendly role based out of Europe or one of our hubs in London, Copenhagen, Munich, or Zurich. • 25 days of annual leave + public holidays in the country where you are based. • A generous referral scheme. • Work from home set up. • At Synthesia, you can work from anywhere (within reason) in the world for up to 60 days per year! • A huge opportunity for career growth as you’ll help shape a …
