What You'll Do As an Ultralytics LLM Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our LLM capabilities. Key responsibilities include: • Researching, fine-tuning, and deploying state-of-the-art LLMs • Developing APIs and tools to enable seamless integration of LLM functionalities • Optimizing model performance for scalability and efficiency • Collaborating with the team to create innovative AI-driven solutions • Implementing automated checks for data quality and pipeline reliability • Supporting the integration of LLMs with [Ultralytics solutions](https://ultralytics.com/solutions) and workflows • Building internal company tools leveraging LLM capabilities • Designing and deploying Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications • Enhancing query enrichment, reranking, and search relevance systems • Ensuring compliance with SOC 2 and ISO standards • Engaging with the open-source community to promote adoption and gather feedback • Writing and maintaining technical documentation and guides • Staying at the forefront of LLM advancements and sharing insights with the team Your profile Preferred skill set: • 5+ years of experience with Python and AI/ML frameworks • Extensive experience working with LLMs and transformer architectures • Strong understanding of NLP concepts, tokenization, embeddings, and fine-tuning • Proven experience deploying LLMs in production environments • Expertise with APIs from Anthropic , OpenAI , Voyage , DeepSeek , and Gemini • Experience with building internal tools leveraging LLM functionalities • Hands-on experience designing and implementing RAG applications • Proficiency in query enrichment and reranking methodologies • Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO compliance requirements • Strong debugging and optimization skills • Excellent written communication and documentation abilities • Familiarity with open-source AI tools and communities • Experience with Docker and cloud-based deployment AWS , GCP , or Azure Why us? Your role is crucial in ensuring the excellence of our open-source ecosystem. You will: • Monitor and respond to GitHub issues and GitHub Actions alerts • Maintain and improve Docker environments • Manage package distributions through PyPI and Conda • Develop automated checks for documentation quality and consistency • Triage and reproduce reported issues • Review and merge community Pull Requests • Update documentation and guides on docs.ultralytics.com • Support users in GitHub Discussions • Collaborate with the ML team on new features and models Your community focus and technical expertise will be essential in supporting Ultralytics' mission of delivering top-tier machine learning tools to developers worldwide. What You'll Do As a Senior Software Engineer at Ultralytics, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the Ultralytics HUB a leading platform for cloud training and deployment of YOLO AI models . Responsibilities include: • Design and implement secure, scalable, and maintainable event-driven web solutions that integrate seamlessly with cloud services (GCP, Azure, AWS). • Contribute to distributed systems where services communicate through events rather than tightly coupled APIs. • Develop and maintain GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines tailored for cloud deployments involving Docker and Kubernetes. • Ensure the reliability and efficiency of application deployments using cloud functions and various orchestration tools. • Collaborate with ML teams to embed advanced machine learning models into our cloud solutions effectively. • Optimize cloud resources to enhance performance and minimize costs. • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure best practices in cloud development and deployment. Your profile Preferred skill set: • 7+ years experience with Python. • Skilled in designing, developing, maintaining and debugging event-driven systems, asynchronous workflows. Comfort working in orchestration/choreography setups. • Proficient in leveraging Google Cloud Platform for scalable and secure cloud solutions. • Deep expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Hexagonal architecture principles. • Strong knowledge of concurrency and distributed transaction management. • Understanding of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB • Hands-on experience building production systems with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Google Pub/Sub • Familiarity with Domain-Driven-Design (DDD) concept is a valuable asset. • Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as Next.js is an added advantage. • Strong ability to create clear, structured, and comprehensive documentation and diagrams for feature development as an integral part of the development process. • Proficient in CI/CD pipeline construction, particularly with GitHub Actions. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields.
