Today, over 1M+ developers, including those from half the Fortune 100, use Roboflow's machine learning open source and hosted tools. That includes counting cells https://blog.roboflow.com/cancer-research-computer-vision/ to accelerate cancer research, improving construction site safety https://blog.roboflow.com/preventing-accidents-on-construction-sites-with-computer-vision/, digitizing floor plans https://blog.roboflow.com/floor-plan-analysis-computer-vision/, preserving coral reef populations https://blog.roboflow.com/reefos-supercharging-coral-reef-restoration-with-ai/, guiding drone flight https://blog.roboflow.com/georeferencing-drone-videos/, and much more https://roboflow.com/templates. Roboflowers love building great things with passionate teammates. We value ownership, accountability, and a bias toward action, whether it's a big initiative or a small fix. You're naturally curious, hands-on with new tech, and prefer to show your work over talking about it. Many of us have founder mindsets and thrive in Roboflow's high-autonomy environment. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Primarily, you like to make great things with passionate colleagues. You are someone that likes to own outcomes, not only inputs. You're motivated by having responsibility and accountability. You're eager to 'do the work,' big and small. This role suits someone who has run IT at a startup, likes automating repetitive work away, and wants real ownership rather than a ticket queue. WHAT YOU'LL DO As our IT Operations Engineer, you'll own corporate IT end to end: identity, devices, SaaS, and the employee lifecycle from first day to last. You'll own how Roboflowers get set up, stay productive, and get offboarded cleanly. We serve some of the world's largest enterprise companies like Rivian, Pella, Chobani and BNSF, so smooth and secure IT is a shared priority across the company. You'll be the second member of our IT and security function, working alongside our first Security & Automation Engineer as part of our Infrastructure organization. They'll own the security program and audits, and you support it with the day-to-day controls and evidence. SKILLSET Required: • 3-5 years in IT operations or systems administration, including at least 1-2 years at a startup or small, fast-moving team • Hands-on admin experience with Okta or a similar SSO provider (Microsoft Entra ID, OneLogin, JumpCloud) • Proven macOS fleet management with an MDM (Kandji, Mosyle, Jamf, Intune, or similar) • Google Workspace administration • Scripting ability (Python, Bash, or similar) and a habit of automating repeated tasks • Clear written communication; you document as you go Nice to have: • Supported a SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001 audit, or used a compliance platform like Secureframe, Vanta, or Drata • Okta Workflows or other no-code automation tools • Linux familiarity and basic GCP or AWS IAM • Experience supporting a remote team across time zones What this role is not: • Not Windows administration: we run macOS and Linux • Not traditional enterprise networking: we're cloud-first with minimal on-prem infrastructure beyond our office hubs A GLIMPSE OF YOUR WORK Identity and access: • Administer Okta (or our SSO provider): app integrations, groups, provisioning and deprovisioning, and MFA policy • Run access requests and periodic access reviews across Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, GCP, and our other SaaS tools Devices: • Own our macOS fleet through MDM: enrollment, configuration profiles, OS and app patching, and encryption • Handle laptop procurement, shipping, inventory, and recovery for a distributed team across the US and Europe Employee lifecycle and support: • Own onboarding and offboarding end to end, so new hires are productive on day one and departures are fully closed out the same day • Be the go-to person for hardware, software, and account issues, and turn recurring questions into docs or self-serve fixes • Support office IT (Wi-Fi, conference rooms, printers) at our New York and San Francisco hubs Automation: • Script and automate repetitive IT work (for example, onboarding workflows, provisioning, and device compliance checks) using tools like Python, shell scripts, Okta Workflows, or HRIS integrations • Keep IT procedures, runbooks, and the asset inventory current SaaS and vendors: • Manage the SaaS stack: licenses, renewals, spend, and …

WHO WE ARE Our mission is to make the world programmable. Sight is one of the key ways we understand the world, and soon this will be true for the software we use, too. We’re building the tools, community, and resources needed to make the world programmable with artificial intelligence. Roboflow simplifies building and using computer vision models. Today, over 1M+ developers, including those from half the Fortune 100, use Roboflow’s machine learning open source and hosted tools. That includes counting cells https://blog.roboflow.com/cancer-research-computer-vision/ to accelerate cancer research, improving construction site safety https://blog.roboflow.com/preventing-accidents-on-construction-sites-with-computer-vision/, digitizing floor plans https://blog.roboflow.com/floor-plan-analysis-computer-vision/, preserving coral reef populations https://blog.roboflow.com/reefos-supercharging-coral-reef-restoration-with-ai/, guiding drone flight https://blog.roboflow.com/georeferencing-drone-videos/, and much more https://roboflow.com/templates. Roboflow is supported by great customers and investors, having raised over 63 million from Y Combinator, Google Ventures, Craft Ventures, Sam Altman, Lachy Groom, amongst other leading software investors. We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer who views security as an engineering challenge, not a checkbox exercise. You will join our Infrastructure Team to own security across our entire stack (from the low-level GKE configurations to the high-level application logic). In a startup of our size, "chaos" is just another word for "opportunity." You aren’t here to just manage compliance spreadsheets or interface with IT; you are here to build the tooling, automation, and architecture that makes it impossible for our developers to make a critical mistake as we continually increase velocity. WHAT YOU’LL DO • Own the Stack: Secure everything from our Kubernetes clusters on the cloud to our SaaS integrations and developer workflows. • Usher in the Future: articulate and execute on a vision for what security should be in the age of LLMs giving both us and attackers increasing leverage. • Engineer for Security: Build internal tooling and CI/CD automations that catch vulnerabilities before they ever hit production. • Architect & Model: Lead threat modeling sessions and secure code reviews, ensuring we design "secure-by-default" APIs and deployments. • Harden the Perimeter: Take a first-principles approach to hardening authentication and access control across all internal and external surfaces. • Red Team: proactively probe for vulnerabilities and lead the remediation. • Lead the Bug Bounty: You will be the primary owner for standing up, launching, and managing our Bug Bounty Program, triaging reports, and driving remediation. • Respond & Remediate: Investigate vulnerabilities, lead incident response, orchestrate pen testing, and run blameless postmortems that actually result in systemic change. • Evangelize: Be the partner, not the blocker. Translate complex security risks into actionable engineering tasks that your peers can get excited about. WHO YOU ARE • Startup Native: You thrive in a fast paced 100–300 person environments. You know how to prioritize when everything feels urgent and are comfortable "failing forward" to find the right solution. • Security-First Engineer: You have 6+ years of experience in software/infrastructure engineering with a deep obsession with security. You don't just find holes; you write the code to plug them. • Cloud Savvy: You are deeply familiar with Google Cloud (GCP), Kubernetes, and containerized environments. • Systems Thinker: You can analyze a system for weaknesses whether they are buried in business logic, IAM configurations, or the codebase. • Action-Oriented: You have a track record of responding to real-world incidents and leading remediation efforts without being the "no" person. OUR TECHNICAL STACK • Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Orchestration: Kubernetes (GKE) • Infrastructure: Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code • Pipeline: Modern CI/CD workflows and various SaaS integrations WHERE YOU'LL WORK Roboflow is distributed across the US and Europe. We currently have Hubs in New York City and San Francisco (and plan to open more as we grow density in new cities). We provide opportunities (like team onsites in different cities) and resources https://blog.roboflow.com/how-we-work-together-at-roboflow/ (like a $4000/yr travel stipend) to work in person with other team members as much as you'd like, while also supporting remote team members. You can work from one of our Hubs (we offer a relocation bonus), work from home, work at co-working spaces, etc. We want you to work where you work best! WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE To determine your salary, we use a number of market and data-driven salary sources. We review all salaries every six months to ensure we stay in line with the market. …

You are someone that likes to own outcomes, not only inputs. You’re motivated by having responsibility and accountability. You’re eager to ‘do the work,’ big and small. You’re curious and learning about new technologies, perhaps an early tinkerer with ChatGPT and AI products. You show more than you tell. You’re motivated by the question, “How can I improve this?” and have a track record of doing so, even in ways adjacent to your role. Much of our current team is made up of former founders and thrive in the level of autonomy at Roboflow. Maybe you had a side hustle in high school or college. Many Roboflowers have used our tools before joining. Start building a trusting relationship with your peers, and learning the company structure. Ship a substantial new feature to an end user within your first week Build your first Roboflow computer vision product (if you haven't already) WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH Our team of ~70 attracts talent like executives that wanted to return to building, founders with a 100M+ exit, Roboflow users turned team members, open source contributors, a cyclist who biked across the United States, prolific high school hackers, a CTO from 100+ engineering organization, amongst many exceptional others. WHEN YOU'LL WORK Roboflow primarily operates during the daytime hours in the US and there are some synchronous meetings you’ll be expected to attend each week. Apart from that, we have a flexible schedule that allows you to work collaboratively with other team members and asynchronously when needed. WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE To determine your salary, we use a number of market and data-driven salary sources. We review all salaries every six months to ensure we stay in line with the market.
