Senior Product Manager, Ad Monetization

À distance ✓EN
R

RevenueCat gives app businesses the infrastructure and tools to build, run, and improve their monetization. Since graduating from YC's S18 batch, we've grown into the default monetization platform for mobile. We're in 50%+ of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $16B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo developer to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue. We're a remote-first team of 150+ people across 25+ countries, guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance. This isn't the right fit for everyone. The systems you’ll build here manage billions of dollars and touch hundreds of millions of end users, and we don’t take that lightly. You'll be expected to work hard and hold a high bar for what you ship, alongside some of the sharpest, most driven people you've worked with. If that sounds energizing rather than exhausting, keep reading. The Role As Senior Product Manager, Ad Monetization, you'll join a small product and engineering team building RevenueCat's next generation of monetization products for app developers. Ads at RevenueCat are early, but we’re no longer starting from zero. We’ve launched ad revenue tracking and rewarded-ad infrastructure, with strong early adoption. Our next chapter is helping developers earn more from ads: building products that connect publisher inventory with demand, improve monetization performance, and make ad monetization easier to adopt and operate. You'll report to our product lead for Ads and become the primary IC product owner for ad monetization. You'll own significant parts of the roadmap end-to-end: understanding customer problems, identifying opportunities, forming hypotheses, working closely with engineering and design, shipping quickly, and using what we learn to determine what comes next. This is still a fast-moving initiative with significant strategic latitude. We're specifically looking for someone who has built ad monetization products for mobile apps, ideally at a mediation platform, ad network, SSP, or similar company serving app publishers. You should already understand the ecosystem well enough to contribute a strong point of view while remaining willing to challenge your assumptions as we learn. About you: • You have 5+ years of experience owning product decisions end-to-end. Your title may have been Product Manager, founder, or something else — what's important is that you've been accountable for deciding what to build and whether it worked. • You've built and shipped publisher-facing ad monetization products for mobile apps, and have firsthand experience solving the product, technical, and business problems involved in helping developers monetize ad inventory. • You deeply understand the mechanics of mobile ad monetization, including how publisher inventory, demand sources, auctions, pricing, mediation, and measurement interact. • You understand the incentives of the different participants in the ad ecosystem and can reason about both the technical and commercial implications of product decisions. • You are excited about RevenueCat's mission to help developers make more money and about expanding that mission beyond subscriptions. • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are excited to take an initiative with early traction and help turn it into a significant product area. • You are sufficiently technical to work closely with engineering on SDKs, APIs, integrations, data flows, and other technical product decisions. • You have demonstrated the ability to ship and learn quickly, including finding pragmatic solutions to hard problems with many constraints. • You are comfortable operating with ambiguity, making decisions under uncertainty, and taking responsibility for the outcomes of those decisions. • You communicate clearly across different audiences and media, particularly in writing. In the first month, you'll: • Build a deep understanding of what's live today, including ad revenue tracking, rewarded-ad infrastructure, and virtual currency and entitlement flows. • Spend significant time talking with customers using these products to understand what's working, what isn't, and where the biggest opportunities may be. • Build strong working relationships with your engineering, product, design, data, and go-to-market counterparts. • Develop context on our existing strategy, customer research, technical architecture and the hypotheses behind our current roadmap. • Begin contributing your own perspective on where RevenueCat should invest next. Within the first 3 months, you'll: • Take ownership of a meaningful portion of the ad monetization roadmap. • Work closely with engineering to identify the fastest and most effective ways to validate our next set of product hypotheses. • Ship or meaningfully advance your first product bets. • Establish a strong understanding of the opportunities, constraints, and …

If that sounds energizing rather than exhausting, keep reading. The Role As a Senior Product Designer at RevenueCat, you’ll own complex product problems from discovery through production. You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering to understand customers, identify opportunities, shape what we build and why, and turn technically complex workflows into simple, polished experiences for developers. You’ll join a small design team with a high bar for interaction and visual craft. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, talks directly to customers, prototypes and iterates quickly, and stays involved until the work is shipped and working well in production. About you • You have a strong track record solving complex product problems in B2B, SaaS, developer tools, or similarly complex environments. • You can frame ambiguous problems, identify opportunities, make sound trade-offs, and help shape what gets built and why. • You design clear, intuitive workflows and think carefully about information architecture, states, edge cases, errors, and interactions. • You have a high visual craft bar and care deeply about hierarchy, typography, spacing, composition, and polish. • You stay close to customers, using direct conversations and qualitative and quantitative evidence to inform your decisions. • You work closely with Product and Engineering, involve partners early, reduce scope intelligently, and stay engaged through implementation and follow-up. • You communicate clearly in a remote, asynchronous environment and take ownership beyond the boundaries of a design handoff. • You understand technical constraints well enough to make realistic decisions and are comfortable using prototypes, code, or modern AI tools when they help you learn or move faster. • You are excited about our mission to help developers make more money. In the first month, you'll • Get to know our product, customers, and teams. • Familiarize yourself with our design system and visual language. • Talk to some customers to understand their needs. • Start engaging in discovery and design for your first meaningful project. Within the first 3 months, you'll • Have taken full ownership of all design aspects for your cross-functional product team. • Have seen the first project shipped that you worked on from ideation to launch. • Work with your team to discover opportunities and solutions to deliver value to our customers. Within the first 6 months, you'll • Be an integral product partner within your cross-functional team, helping shape priorities and product direction. • Raise the bar for interaction and visual craft within your area while contributing patterns and improvements that benefit the broader product. • Contribute to the development of the design practice at RevenueCat through critique, shared patterns, and collaboration with the rest of the design team. Within the first 12 months, you'll • Have shipped meaningful product improvements end to end, from identifying the opportunity through implementation and iteration. • Help improve reusable patterns, systems, and ways of working that make the design team more effective without adding unnecessary process. • Be a strong advocate for customer understanding, product quality, and thoughtful design across RevenueCat. What we offer: • Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator • 10-year window to exercise vested equity options • A fully remote environment designed around autonomy and flexibility • 4-5 weeks of flexible time off annually • Paid desk at a co-working space • Workspace budget and continuous learning stipend Interviewing at RevenueCat Our interview process is rigorous on purpose. You'll be expected to work hard and hold a high bar for what you ship, alongside some of the sharpest, most driven people you've worked with. If that sounds energizing rather than exhausting, keep reading. The role We are looking for a Head of Sales to build and lead the commercial system that converts RevenueCat's market position, product signals, and customer demand into dependable revenue, regardless of that revenue coming in the form of an immediate contract, a self-serve credit-swipe, or long-term expansion. In the ‘app monetization platform’ category, RevenueCat currently has about a 90% marketshare, ranging from the biggest apps in the world (ChatGPT, Ladder, VSCO) to a long tail of 100,000+ indies and startups vying to make it big. We only power roughly 25% of in-app revenue, though: The majority of apps still tries to build this themselves. Your job will be to show them the error of their ways. Not (just) to close a deal, but because we truly, deeply believe we will help them make more money. As the Head of Sales, you’ll lead the AE and Sales Engineering teams, bringing both teams together in a single, well-oiled machine. You’ll set the functional strategy, develop talent, own forecasting and results, and you’ll personally help move important opportunities forward without becoming the required manager or closer on every deal. Why we are hiring for this role now We have more opportunities than the current team can consistently identify, prioritize and pursue. Our reputation and market position produce consistent touch points with the majority of potential prospects, without those touch points turning into economic opportunities. At the same time, we’re rapidly expanding into new markets and product areas that need more proactive sales support than we can deliver. We need a leader who can make several motions work together without forcing them into one generic process: • Complex evaluations involving technical, business, security, legal, and procurement stakeholders. • Faster mid-market opportunities that require strong qualification and commercial momentum. • Self-exploration where customer behavior reveals an opportunity before a formal handraise. • Carefully researched outbound engagement with app businesses where RevenueCat has a specific reason to be useful. • Partner-sourced and selected regional motions whose economics must be demonstrated before they are scaled. The foundations exist: Account Executives, Sales Engineers, product and usage data, a respected brand, Growth Marketing, Partnerships, Revenue Operations, Product, Finance, and Customer Growth. This role will turn those ingredients into a successful Sales function. What you will be responsible for • Own the function. Set goals, metrics, operating cadences, headcount plans, budget, organization design, executive communication, and the performance bar across Sales. • Build a multi-motion Sales system. Define how strategic, mid-market, product-led, outbound, partner, and regional opportunities are identified, qualified, staffed, and advanced, across a growing product portfolio. • Create qualified pipeline beyond inbound. Develop focused account and outbound programs grounded in customer evidence, specific use cases, market events, and product signals rather than undifferentiated prospecting. • Close the coverage gap. Ensure high-potential product usage, sign-ups, inbound requests, support interactions, and target-account signals quickly result in a named owner and an intentional next action. • Build the team. We have good building blocks in place but the team needs to be significantly expanded to take on our current scale. Hire and developer exception talent, and define what makes a great sales team member at RevenueCat. • Remain close to customers. Participate in customer conversations every week and personally lead or support opportunities with unusual economic, technical, or organizational complexity. • Make the forecast useful. Establish definitions and inspection habits that distinguish real, qualified opportunity value from incomplete records, existing usage conversions, renewals, total contract value, or loosely influenced demand. • Help shape pricing and …

The Role RevenueCat helps app developers manage subscriptions and make more money from them. Maybe you're an indie developer who doesn’t know what "conversion" even means, you just want your app to make money so you can keep building it. Or maybe you're a growth specialist at a company doing millions a month, and pricing experiments are already your whole job. Either way, you probably didn't get into this to spend your days staring at a dashboard. So we built two AI agents to do that work for you, or make you even sharper at it if you're already a pro. Enter Rico. Rico watches over your subscription business and can help you make sense of it, and act on what it finds. Say your revenue dropped last week. You don't need to go digging through charts to find out why. Just ask Rico. It pulls the data, explains what happened in plain language, and shows you how you compare to similar apps. Then it can fix things itself, like setting up a new plan or restoring a customer's access, with you approving the change before it goes live. Run a pricing experiment and Rico will read the results for you and tell you which version is winning. There are so many things we want Rico to be able to do! Then there's our AI Paywall Editor, a specialized agent to build and edit paywalls, the screen that asks someone to subscribe. Most developers are not designers, and a paywall that actually gets people to tap "subscribe" is harder to build than it looks, so the AI Paywall Editor helps you with that. Use it in our online editor, from the command line, or hook your own AI tools into it over MCP. You can see both agents in action in our most recent product launch recap . This is a role for engineers who've built advanced agents that do actual work , not just a thin wrapper around an LLM. You'll ship agentic features to thousands of developers, and you’ll shape the foundation everything else runs on: orchestration, tool execution, context management, evaluation and human-in-the-loop controls. About You • You have 8+ years of experience shipping production systems. • You've built agents that other people actually use and the systems around them: tool use, structured output, context management, evaluation, orchestration. • You have strong backend fundamentals. You've built systems that need to be reliable, observable, and secure. • You hold a high bar for quality and instinctively know which details matter, but also are discerning enough to cut scope when needed while still delivering value. • You’re customer-obsessed: you imagine yourself as the developer, product manager, or marketer using the feature or experiencing the issue. • You’re a builder, not an implementer: scoping, prioritizing, and driving rollout in partnership with our Product team. This isn’t a role where you check off items from a detailed specification. • You can quickly familiarize yourself with code you didn't write yourself and improve it. • You’re scrappy and biased toward shipping. You’d rather ship a good version today and iterate than wait to ship a perfect one next quarter. • You communicate clearly, both in real-time and asynchronously. We’re a fully remote team, and how you write is as important as how you code. • You’ve shipped meaningful user-facing features to production, monitored their usage and adoption, and improved them over time. • You write high-quality, well-tested code, debug issues methodically, and help raise the engineering bar through thoughtful feedback and mentorship. • You act like an founder:: you notice problems, propose improvements, and follow through fast. • You're comfortable with ambiguity. This is an early stage product inside a growth stage company, and the architecture is still being figured out. • You're self directed. You figure out what needs to be built, build it, and ship it. • You are curious and stay current on AI tools and practices. • You have a habit of sharing what you learn with others. Ideally, you have: • Familiarity with subscription …

You'll be expected to work hard and hold a high bar for what you ship, alongside some of the sharpest, most driven people you've worked with. If that sounds energizing rather than exhausting, keep reading. The role We are looking for a Head of Customer Growth to build and lead the operating system that helps RevenueCat customers become better app businesses. This is broader than a traditional Customer Success role. It combines strategic account coverage, app-growth judgment, specialist advisory, customer education, product adoption, and scalable enablement. The goal is not to give every customer the same high-touch service. It is to identify where RevenueCat can create disproportionate value, deploy the right kind of help, and turn every successful customer intervention into knowledge that benefits the rest of the customer base. You will lead a multi-lane Customer Growth function spanning the CSM team, Growth Advisory, Growth Advocacy, and the emerging Customer Enablement function. The CSM Team Lead will own daily CSM execution. You will set the strategy, operating model, talent bar, investment plan, and measures of success for the function as a whole. For our highest-value customers, this means deep account context, growth diagnosis, stakeholder mapping, product-adoption strategy, technical-account coordination, and clear next-step ownership. For high-potential customers, it means identifying them early and providing the right help before revenue has fully materialized. For customers with specific growth bottlenecks, it means bringing in the right specialist. For the broader customer base, it means scalable education through Growth Advocates, lifecycle guidance, office hours, playbooks, templates, product nudges, and eventually dynamic next-best-action systems. Your job is to make Customer Growth one operating system rather than a collection of disconnected activities. Why we are hiring for this role now RevenueCat serves tiny indie apps, fast-growing startups, games, media companies, health and fitness apps, AI products, marketplaces, and some of the most sophisticated consumer app businesses in the world. The app market is top-heavy, so the human touch must be allocated deliberately. At the same time, a customer that is small today may become strategically important very quickly. Contract status and current revenue are necessary signals, but they are not sufficient. We already have many of the ingredients: CSMs, a CSM Team Lead role, Growth Advocates, Customer Growth Advisory specialists, Product, Support, Marketing, Sales, TAM, Data, and one of the richest datasets in app monetization. We need a leader who can turn those ingredients into a coherent function. What you will be responsible for • Own Customer Growth strategy across the full customer base. Define how RevenueCat helps customers grow after they begin using the product, including named accounts, high-potential customers, specialist-assisted customers, scaled customers, and the long tail. • Build segmentation and coverage. Use current value, future potential, adoption, intent, growth moments, risk, and strategic importance to decide who receives named CSM coverage, time-bound help, specialist advisory, scaled education, product-led guidance, or monitoring. • Lead through the CSM Team Lead. Set the bar for customer context, account strategy, stakeholder management, growth diagnosis, adoption planning, commercial awareness, and follow-through. Develop the Team Lead and create a strong leadership bench rather than becoming the permanent CSM manager. • Identify high-potential customers early. Work with Data, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Support to find customers with meaningful future potential before revenue alone makes them obvious. • Govern Growth Advisory. Define intake, qualification, expected impact, output quality, follow-through, and reuse. Specialists should be deployed against specific high-value problems rather than become general-purpose consulting capacity. • Make Growth Advocacy a customer-education channel. Ensure Growth Advocates turn real customer learning into authoritative one-to-many education for existing customers and the broader app ecosystem. • Build Customer …

Senior Backend Engineer

We are toogeza, a Ukrainian recruiting company that is focused on hiring talents and building teams for tech startups worldwide. People make a difference in the big game, we may help to find the right ones. Currently, we are looking for Senior Backend Engineer for Elva. Location: Remote Job Type: Full-Time ABOUT THE PRODUCT: We’re building an AI-driven video production platform that transforms ideas, references, and media fragments into structured video content. The product uses a multi-agent AI system to handle different stages of the creative process — from content analysis and scripting to editing and video production. It is designed for both professional creators and everyday users, allowing them to go from an initial concept to a finished video with significantly less manual work. ABOUT THE ROLE: We’re looking for an engineer who will help build and scale the core AI infrastructure behind the product. You’ll work on LLM-powered workflows, multi-agent systems, integrations, and backend services that turn user inputs into reliable production pipelines. The role combines hands-on engineering with architectural ownership: designing how agents interact, improving system reliability and performance, and experimenting with new AI capabilities. You’ll work closely with the product team and have significant influence over both the technical architecture and the quality of the final user experience. Our stack: • Python 3.12, FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy 2.0 (async, asyncpg), Alembic • PostgreSQL (Cloud SQL) • Google Cloud: GKE (Kubernetes + Helm), Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Secret Manager • Ory Oathkeeper (API gateway), Centrifugo (real-time), n8n (worker orchestration), KEDA (autoscaling) • Docker, GitHub Actions, Artifact Registry • pytest (asyncio) + Testcontainers • structlog, Google Cloud Monitoring / Logging What we expect: • 5+ years of professional Python development, a solid share of it on an async stack (FastAPI / aiohttp / Starlette); deep understanding of asyncio. • Strong PostgreSQL: schema design, transactions and locking, indexes, slow query analysis. • Experience designing REST APIs and webhook integrations: idempotency, retries, consistent error handling. • Hands-on performance work: profiling, metrics, load testing, and fixing the bottlenecks you find. • Docker as a daily tool; Kubernetes at the "I deploy and debug my own service" level (each service ships its own Helm chart). • A habit of writing tests (unit + integration) and taking features to production end-to-end: from design to monitoring. Nice to have: • GCP experience (or AWS/Azure with willingness to switch to GCP), Terraform. • Mobile app billing: RevenueCat, Paddle, App Store / Google Play subscriptions. • Auth systems: JWT, refresh token rotation, API gateways. • Real-time messaging (WebSocket), workflow orchestration (n8n, Airflow, Temporal, Celery). • BigQuery and analytics pipelines. • Backend experience in mobile products. What’s next? If this role sounds like a fit — we’d love to hear from you! Just send over your CV and anything else you’d like us to consider. We’ll review everything within five working days, and if your background matches what we’re looking for, we’ll get in touch to set up a call and get to know each other better.
