Director of Partnerships and Technology Alliances

About DataCamp Data and AI skills are critical for thriving today, and DataCamp is the platform that empowers everyone to learn them. We help individuals and Fortune 1000 companies close the data and AI skills gap through world-class learning, hands-on training, and a global community of expert instructors. In this role, you'll build the partnerships function that scales our curriculum—bringing the world's leading content providers, technology vendors, and highest-profile instructors onto DataCamp so millions of learners can build the skills that matter. About the role This is a player-coach role that reports to our Content organization. You will own the partnership strategy end-to-end, personally close the deals that define it, and then build a small team behind you as the function grows. Here's what your day-to-day will look like: • Own DataCamp's partnership strategy for curriculum: which content providers, technology vendors, and marquee experts we partner with, in what order, and why. • Source, negotiate, and close partnerships—licensed and co-branded content, official vendor certifications, and marquee instructor deals. • Build and manage senior relationships across the AI, data, and cloud ecosystem, from partner leadership through to their content and product teams. • Work with curriculum, product, legal, and marketing to take partnerships from signed agreement to live content that learners actually complete. • Define what a high-quality partner looks like for DataCamp and hold the bar—prioritizing depth and learner impact over volume of logos. • Own the commercial and contractual side of partnerships, including licensing terms, revenue share, and instructor agreements. • Hire, coach, and grow a small partnerships team over time, while continuing to carry your own portfolio of relationships. • Report on partnership performance to leadership, and make the call on which partnerships to double down on and which to retire. Qualifications: • 3-5+ years in partnerships, alliances, or business development at a B2B SaaS or technology company, with a track record of sourcing and closing deals you personally led. • Deep fluency in the AI, data, and cloud landscape. You know who the players are, how the ecosystem is shifting, and which partners will matter in 18 months. • Experience in the education, EdTech, or enterprise L&D market, and a real understanding of what makes learning content valuable to a buyer and to a learner. • Proven ability to build a function from near-scratch: you’re a self-starter and are able to seamlessly switch from strategy to execution. • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, including comfort with licensing, revenue share, and content rights. • Excellent cross-functional judgment. You can hold your own with content, product, and legal teams and translate between partner ambitions and internal reality. Bonus if you have the following • An existing network across AI and data technology vendors, certification bodies, or the creator and expert community in data and AI. • A deep understanding of the DataCamp course format—you have an intuitive sense of what makes a great DataCamp course. • Experience as an educator or curriculum developer in technical education. Why Datacamp? Joining DataCamp means becoming part of a dynamic, creative, and international start-up. Here are just a few of the reasons why you'll love being on our team: • Exciting Challenges – Tackle some of the most important educational challenges in Data & AI. • Work with the Best Instructors – Partner with top-tier instructors from leading organizations like Microsoft, Hugging Face, AWS, and more. • Competitive Compensation – We offer a competitive salary with attractive benefits. • Work Flexibility – Benefit from flexible working hours and a remote-friendly culture. • Professional Growth – Access to a yearly learning & development budget. • Global Culture – Join a team that values international collaboration. • Annual Retreats – Participate in international company retreats, fostering a global team spirit. • Tools & Setup – Receive an annual IT equipment budget to refresh your workspace. Our competitive compensation package offers additional benefits. On top of your salary you will also receive extra legal benefits such as best-in-class medical insurance including dental and vision. Depending on your location additional benefits might be available to you.

About DataCamp DataCamp's mission is to empower everyone with the data and AI skills essential for 21st-century success. By providing practical, engaging learning experiences, DataCamp equips learners and organizations of all sizes to harness the power of data and AI. As a trusted partner to over 17 million learners and 6,000+ companies, including 80% of the Fortune 1000 , DataCamp is leading the charge in addressing the critical data and AI skills shortage. About the role We're looking for a Senior Product Engineer who brings real passion, innovation, and entrepreneurial drive to the systems millions of people rely on to learn. You'll take large, ambiguous projects from idea to impact with real autonomy — prototyping, measuring, and iterating in fast feedback loops rather than grinding through tickets. You'll have a strong voice in what gets built and how, partnering closely with Product, Design, and fellow engineers to ship work you're proud of and to sweat the details that make it great. This is an AI-native team, not an AI-curious one. Agentic coding tools like Claude Code and Codex are core to how we work every day, alongside LLMs and AI APIs. We expect engineers to lean on them to prototype faster, raise code quality, and spend more time on the hard problems that matter most for the people we build for. If you’re excited about building great products, shaping the future of how DataCamp builds and ships, and working on systems that operate at scale, we’d love to hear from you. Responsibilities • Own product or platform projects end-to-end — idea, build, release, measurement, iteration — with the autonomy to make them count. • Shape the technical direction of the systems you work on, from architecture through implementation. • Own the services you ship and keep them scalable, reliable, and observable as they grow — and increasingly, those services are powered by LLMs. • Raise the bar for technical decisions and architecture across scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems, including LLM-powered services. Advocate for high standards in testing, observability, code quality, and long-term engineering excellence • Use data, metrics, and user feedback to decide what to build next. • Grow the engineers around you through mentorship, technical leadership, and thoughtful code review. What are we looking for? • You have 7+ years building software across the stack — experience with our stack (TypeScript, Node.js, React) is a strong plus. • You have start-up or early-stage / small-company experience — you thrive in fast-paced, high-velocity environments and ship quickly. • You have a strong product mindset paired with pragmatism — you understand your users, weigh data and feedback with good taste, and make sharp trade-offs to drive decisions rather than chase perfection • You're AI-native — agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Codex) are your primary way of working, with 6+ months of daily, hands-on use. You write your own skills, wire up MCP servers, and can show us what you've built with them. • You demonstrate expert knowledge of modern API design and microservices architecture. • You have a track record of taking large, ambiguous problems end to end and independently — both greenfield 01 builds and improving complex existing systems. What’s in it for you? In addition to joining a creative and international start-up, you’ll enjoy: • An exciting job that will offer you technical challenges every day • A competitive salary with fringe benefits • Flexible hours • International company retreats • Learning and development. We encourage continued education through a conference budget and external training. • Modern tooling to do your best work, including agentic AI tools like Claude Code and Codex as part of your everyday workflow. • Working with a great team (everyone says this, but we’re serious—we’re pretty great)

Responsabilités:

• Own product or platform projects end-to-end — idea, build, release, measurement, iteration — with the autonomy to make them count. • Shape the technical direction of the systems you work on, from architecture throug…

About DataCamp Data and AI skills are critical for thriving today, and DataCamp is the platform that empowers everyone to learn them. We help individuals and Fortune 1000 companies close the data and AI skills gap through world-class learning, hands-on training, and a global community of expert instructors. In this role, you’ll collaborate with instructors and teams across curriculum, engineering, product, and marketing to expand and improve our Data Science and Data Engineering curriculum—helping millions worldwide upskill in data and AI. About you At DataCamp, we seek individuals who embody our core values of data-driven decision - making, action, transparency, ownership, and customer focus. You thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment and are driven by a passion for making a meaningful impact. You’re adaptable, embracing change and ambiguity with enthusiasm. Your initiative and entrepreneurial spirit push you beyond just meeting targets — you aim to understand the “why” behind our goals and take ownership to drive the business forward. You’re a collaborative team player who values transparency and always seeks to improve and innovate. For this role specifically, ownership is the trait we will weigh most heavily. You are 3–7 years into your legal career and ready for a role with real autonomy. Given a problem, you work it: you make calls within your remit, move things forward, and raise your hand early when you genuinely need help — not after a deal has stalled for a week. You bring intellectual curiosity, commercial fluency, bias to action, and the maturity to know the difference between a 0.1% risk worth accepting and a material exposure that requires mitigation. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply! About the Role We are seeking an experienced commercial lawyer with a strong background in commercial contracts relevant to a technology company as it relates to our customers and vendors. Reporting to DataCamp’s General Counsel, this is a strategically important role that will help DataCamp achieve its goals at a time of dynamic growth. This is a role designed for someone who can be pointed at a problem and trusted to deliver. You will have a clear remit, the authority to make decisions within it, and a General Counsel who is available when you need a sounding board — but who is not going to micromanage your inbox. As our Commercial Counsel, you will support internal business partners and assist on a broad variety of transactional matters in a growing technology company by: • Leading drafting and negotiation on a broad range of agreements (including Master Services Agreements, terms of service, services agreements, other SaaS agreements, NDAs, data processing addenda, and requests for proposals) supporting DataCamp’s business teams, with a primary focus of supporting the licensing of DataCamp’s products and services to its customers and channel partners and vendor software licensing. • Owning deals end-to-end, from first redline through signature, including direct engagement with customer counsel and procurement teams. You will be the named legal contact on the deals you run. • Collaborating closely with Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, Operations, and Finance teams to shepherd deals to completion — including at quarter-end and year - end. • Facilitating the timely closure of business transactions while minimizing risk exposure. • Providing day-to-day commercial legal support, business-focused counseling, and advice to the sales organization — practical advice that helps stakeholders get to yes rather than gating them on risk. • Supporting the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal contracting processes. • Defining, building and implementing processes and technologies to effectively deliver legal support in a scalable manner to DataCamp’s rapidly expanding portfolio of enterprise customers. • Leading internal projects, training, and driving cross-functional efforts to completion. • Assisting with special projects as needed. You will be based remotely (EU) and support transactions across all international offices (currently UK, Belgium and New York). What we’re looking for: • 3–7 years of post-qualification experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Strong preference for candidates with a meaningful period of training and practice at a leading global or national law firm. • Demonstrable experience with SaaS agreements, technology licensing, strategic deals, and channel agreements (such as resellers, distribution, MSP, etc.). In-house experience at a technology company is a strong plus. • Prior experience supporting a heavy volume of commercial transactions relevant to a technology company across various business functions in a fast-paced environment. • The maturity and judgment to own work end-to-end with limited supervision — making decisions within your remit, escalating what genuinely needs escalation, and neither …
