As a Backend Engineer on Coder's Enterprise Experience team, you'll build the features that help large organizations run Coder in production with confidence. The team owns what administrators and operators need to run Coder well. That covers how it scales, how it's upgraded, how reliably it performs, how it's observed and reported on, how activity is held accountable, and how it's secured. You'll join a cross-functional team of backend, platform, and QA engineers who own the operator experience end to end. You'll ship features from design through production and partner with product and design to solve real operator problems. WHAT YOU'LL DO HERE • Build features end to end, from a design you write within the team's existing approach through production rollout. • Write database migrations that follow the team's patterns for schema compatibility and safe upgrades. • Build the observability, reporting, and audit features administrators rely on to see what their deployment is doing. • Build features that keep enterprise deployments secure, following the team's security practices. • Help investigate and resolve scalability bottlenecks under production-like load, from database access patterns to concurrency in coderd. • Help resolve backend issues surfaced by Coder operators and administrators. • Document the features you build so a reviewer and the next engineer do not have to decode them. • Participate in code reviews, contribute to RFC-style design discussions, and join the on-call rotation. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience. • Professional experience writing and shipping Go. • Working understanding of Go's concurrency model, including goroutines, channels, and the sync package. • Comfortable with SQL, schema changes, and writing migrations. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including surfacing blockers and uncertainty early. • Solid debugging skills and the persistence to work a problem, and to escalate early when stuck. • A self-motivated, analytical engineer who enjoys difficult technical challenges. BONUS TACOS IF YOU HAVE • (Tacos? If you need an ice-breaker, ask how we say thanks by giving tacos!) • Experience investigating performance under real-world load, including debugging race conditions. • Experience with observability, audit, or security features in an enterprise product. • Experience with major cloud providers, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. • Experience building or operating distributed systems at a meaningful scale. • Curiosity about the latest developer tooling. OUR TECH STACK • Backend: Go, Postgres, Kubernetes, gRPC • Observability: Prometheus, Grafana • CI/CD: GitHub Actions • General: GitHub, Slack, Discord, Notion ABOUT CODER Coder is the leading platform for AI development Infrastructure, enabling enterprises to securely run human and AI-driven development workflows in consistent, governed environments. Senior Partner Deployed Engineer

À distance ✓EN
C

The Role We are looking for a Senior Partner Deployed Engineer to join the Customer Solutions team, focused on building Coder’s partner ecosystem across EMEA. This is a new function at Coder, modeled on the Forward Deployed Engineer role pioneered by companies like Palantir and now the fastest-growing technical role at frontier AI companies. The difference: instead of embedding with a single customer to deploy a platform, you embed with strategic partners to help them understand, position, and deliver Coder’s platform across their entire customer base. You are part Field CTO, part Industry Strategist, part Technical Specialist, and part Partner Relations Lead. You will be the technical authority within our EMEA partner ecosystem: setting the vision for how Coder fits into each partner’s AI, cloud, and modernization offerings, co-creating the GTM sales plays that partner sellers take to market, building the demonstrations and workshops that generate pipeline, and producing the Partner Relations content that establishes Coder’s technical brand in the ecosystem. This is not a support role. You are equally comfortable holding a strategic roadmap conversation with a partner CTO and debugging a Kubernetes deployment in a partner’s lab in the same afternoon. You are energized by the challenge of building a new category through partnerships, motivated by the multiplied impact of enabling an entire ecosystem rather than a single customer, and capable of operating with full autonomy in a fast-moving startup environment. What You’ll Do • Serve as the strategic technical thought partner to EMEA partner leadership, including practice leads, CTOs, and solutions architects at global systems integrators, regional cloud consultancies, and hyperscaler field teams. Own the technical relationship and set the vision for how Coder fits into each partner’s AI and modernization portfolio. • Co-create sales plays tailored to each partner’s customer base, vertical focus, and services capabilities. Author Working Backwards outcome proposals for strategic partner-customer combinations that translate AI Development Infrastructure into deal-level urgency. • Develop and deliver workshops, Builder Labs, and partner-hosted enablement sessions as the primary awareness and demand generation vehicle for the EMEA ecosystem. Build hands-on demonstration environments and interactive experiences that partners can use independently. • Intervene directly on the highest-value partner-attached deals across EMEA: co-sell calls, technical discovery, PoV scoping, architecture review, and technical win support. Own the engagement until the partner’s team can carry it independently. • Transform bespoke partner enablement sessions into structured LMS modules and certification tiers that scale across the EMEA partner base without requiring live PDE support for each new partner. • Produce “better together” reference architectures for strategic partner combinations across cloud providers and AI platforms. Include deployment diagrams, network topology, IAM patterns, and operational runbooks that partner SAs can hand directly to customers. • Codify each successful partner engagement into a repeatable GTM play: trigger conditions, discovery questions, positioning framework, demo script, PoV scope template, and expected outcomes. Build a playbook library that a new PDE or partner seller can pick up and run. • Build AI-powered self-service tools that automate high-volume PDE activities: Opportunity Brief Generator, PR/FAQ Generator, Workshop-in-a-Box deployment, and demo site builder. • Produce a monthly partner intelligence digest from EMEA engagements: what customers are asking for, how competitors are positioning, where integrations are missing, which vertical use cases are emerging. Distribute to Product, Engineering, and GTM leadership. • Own the EMEA-relevant portions of the joint technical integration roadmap with strategic partners. Define priorities cross-functionally with Product and Engineering based on field signals from the EMEA market. • Create and publish Partner Relations content, the ecosystem equivalent of Developer Relations: technical blog posts, cookbooks, partner ecosystem conference talks, enablement videos, and workshop recaps. Build Coder’s technical brand within the EMEA partner community. • Contribute to cloud marketplace product listing stewardship, competency maintenance documentation, and CSP co-build technical requirements as they apply to EMEA-specific partner and compliance contexts. What We’re Looking For • 7+ years of experience in a combination of Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Field CTO, Technical Consulting, or Developer Relations roles at an infrastructure, developer tools, or AI company • Demonstrated experience helping partners or customers understand and adopt products in emerging or undefined categories, not just executing playbooks for established ones …

Staff Platform Engineer

À distance ✓EN
Z

About Zencoder At Zencoder.ai , we build and orchestrate AI agents that ship real work - code, research, operations, and more. What started as developer tooling is becoming a platform where people and agents collaborate across knowledge work tasks. The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced engineer to raise the bar on how our organization builds, tests, ships, and operates software - for both human engineers and AI coding agents. This is AI harness engineering: the discipline of making the fundamentals (CI/CD, testing, IaC, observability, secure delivery) so solid and well-shaped that agents can work productively inside them. Developer experience and platform engineering are a subset of that work. When the harness is good, humans ship faster and agents stop getting stuck on things that shouldn't be hard. Security is inseparable from this. AI agents are accelerating both the pace and the shape of vulnerabilities, and secure delivery has to be built into the same stream as everything else - not bolted on. Product teams own their services, pipelines, and tests. Your job is to raise the ceiling across the org - defining standards, building leverage, and helping teams level up their workflows, tooling, infrastructure, security posture, and necessary changes to get the most out of coding agents. Key Responsibilities This is a hands-on lead role - you'll be deep in the code, infra, and pipelines yourself. • Shape the platform and infrastructure that everything else runs on - the foundations product teams build on top of; • Improve the full developer loop: local development, remote agents, CI/CD, deployment, observability; • Build shared tooling, templates, and golden paths that create real leverage - paved roads teams actually want to use; • Stay ahead of the shifting security landscape as AI agents reshape both how vulnerabilities emerge and how they're exploited. Essential Qualifications • Strong software engineering background - you will be building both tooling and managing core infrastructure in this role; • Real fluency with AI coding agents - how they work, where they fail, and what makes them effective; • A product mindset toward internal tooling - treating engineers and agents as users, and measuring whether the platform actually makes them faster; • Deep experience with CI/CD, automated testing, IaC, Cloud and developer tooling; • A passion for software security and secure delivery practices (shift-left / SecDevOps etc) in both the classical context and the new AI agent context. Why Join Zencoder? • Impact AI is reshaping how work gets done, and you'll be at the forefront of that shift, building a product that enables teams to get more done with AI. We use our own products every day, so you'll see how your work lands right away. • AI-First We use AI to expand what one person can accomplish. You'll constantly rethink how you work: what to hand over to AI, and where your own judgment matters most. • Ownership We keep the team small and give people real scope, autonomy, and equity. You'll take initiative, make decisions, and see your work through to real outcomes, raising the bar with every iteration. • High Talent Density A small team of highly capable people moves faster and builds better. You'll work directly with senior teammates and our founder, Andrew Filev, in a flat structure where ideas win on merit, not titles. • Remote-First We hire globally, prioritizing talent over location, so you can work where you're most productive. Prefer in-person? We have a hub in Barcelona with weekly co-working. Zencoder is an equal-opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

This is not a “just code what’s assigned” role — we’re looking for people with a product mindset, who think deeply about users, bring ideas for product growth, and aren’t afraid to propose and launch new things. We value people who make things happen through their own enthusiasm, rather than waiting for managers to tell them what to do. Here, individual contributors hold the highest status — they are the driving force behind the company’s progress. You’ll work alongside top professionals in an environment that celebrates curiosity, creativity, and results. Essential Qualifications • 10+ years of experience building complex, production-grade applications, including deep expertise in backend development in Java / Kotlin / TypeScript. • Strong computer science foundation combined with a deep understanding of modern software architecture and design principles — and a proven record of applying them effectively in real-world, user-facing products. • Product mindset — you think beyond code, care about the “why” behind the feature, and proactively contribute ideas that make the product better for users. • Strong sense of ownership — you take initiative, drive projects from concept to launch, and thrive when given autonomy and accountability for outcomes. • Deep familiarity with AI assistants, a solid grasp of the evolving AI landscape, and the ability to translate trends and capabilities into practical product improvements. • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-moving, cross-functional team — communicating clearly, sharing context, and supporting others to achieve shared goals. • Passion for continuous learning, experimentation, and innovation — you stay curious, adapt quickly, and always look for ways to push the boundaries of what’s possible. • Comfort working in dynamic, fast-changing environments — ideally with prior experience in start-ups or early-stage teams where clarity must often be created, not awaited. • Experience or a strong interest in building collaborative, real-time systems is beneficial. Why Join Zencoder? • Shape the Future of Software Creation: We’re not just improving how developers write code — we’re redefining how ideas turn into reality. By closing the gap between concept and execution, we’re creating tools that will influence every industry that relies on software. • Massive Impact, Real Ownership: At Zencoder, you’ll have full visibility into how your work moves the product and the company forward. You’ll ship features that matter, see the immediate impact of your decisions, and get feedback directly from users — fast. • ICs Are the Core: Individual Contributors are the highest-status role at Zencoder. Our culture celebrates those who lead by doing — who create momentum, inspire others, and turn ideas into shipped products. • High-Caliber Team & Founder: Work alongside exceptional AI and software engineers, and learn directly from Andrew Filev, founder of a unicorn startup, who brings deep expertise in scaling world-class technology companies. • Global & Flexible: We hire talent, not coordinates. Work from wherever you’re happiest and most productive — as long as you bring the energy, focus, and results. • Aligned Incentives: Our equity plan ensures that when we succeed, you succeed. Your impact compounds as the company grows. Zencoder is an equal-opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

Fullstack Software Engineer (AI-Native)

Fullstack Software Engineer (AI-Native) About Us Proton is building the AI operating system for wholesale distribution, embedded in the workflows that move nearly every physical product on the planet. Distribution is a $9 trillion industry, and the software that runs it has been stuck in the past for decades — most tools create more work than they eliminate. We unify CRM, PIM, eCommerce AI, and Order & Quote Entry AI into one platform with one data layer and one AI brain, so reps spend their time deepening customer relationships, not entering data. We hire people with high agency and high urgency. At Proton, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and ships AI-native software faster than anyone else in the category. The median Proton customer reports 3x profit return per dollar spent, an extra day of sales per rep per month, and “the best ROI of any tech investment in 30 years.” Hundreds of leading distributors — from family-owned shops to publicly-traded enterprises across, industrial, HVAC, electrical — run on Proton. We’re backed by Felicis Ventures (Twitch, Shopify, Opendoor) and Battery Ventures. If you want to build the systems that shape how trillions of dollars of physical goods move through the economy, Proton is the place to do it. The Role We're hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer to ship products end-to-end across our CRM platform for distributors. This is a generalist role: any layer of the stack, any type of work — frontend, backend, data, integrations — wherever the user impact is. You'll work closely with PMs, designers, and other engineers to scope, build, and deploy features that distributors feel directly. Periodically, you'll work directly with customers to support onboarding, troubleshoot integrations, and help distributors get the most out of the platform. You'll be the person who can sit with a customer's IT team, understand how their ERP is configured, and translate that into something Proton can work with. Expect occasional travel to customer sites a few times a year. Two things make this role different from a standard fullstack opening: • You're an AI-native operator, not a code writer. Every engineer at Proton uses Claude Code (and other agentic dev tools) as a first-class collaborator. We expect features to be designed, built, reviewed, tested, and shipped with heavy AI leverage. You should already work this way — guiding agents, structuring context, validating output, and making judgment calls AI can't. • You're a generalist by default. We don't silo engineers into "frontend only" or "backend only." When a feature needs a Vue component, a Python handler, a Postgres migration, an Airflow DAG, and an ERP integration, you're expected to handle all of it — with AI doing the typing and you doing the thinking. Location : Remote Compensation : $80k – $100k base salary, depending on experience. Includes equity and full benefits. What You'll Do • Own end-to-end delivery of features — from refining tickets to deployment, monitoring, and iteration. • Operate AI coding agents (Claude Code and similar) at a high level: scope work, structure context, run multiple agents in parallel where it makes sense, and ship reviewed, production-quality output. • Move fluidly across the stack — TypeScript/Vue on the frontend, Python on the backend, SQL and data modeling, infra touchpoints. Pick up whatever the work needs. • Collaborate in a squad model with PMs, designers, and engineers; participate in 2-week sprints, standups, refinements, retros, and code reviews. • Design schemas, queries, and APIs that hold up at scale — performance, reliability, and correctness are on you, not on the agent. • Contribute to engineering practices: better patterns, better tooling, better ways to use AI across the team. • Spend time with customers onsite a few times a year — distributors operate in warehouses and on sales floors, and the best product calls come from being there in person. Requirements • 5+ years as a software engineer with real, demonstrable fullstack delivery — production systems, real users, real ownership. Resume-level hands-on experience, not LLM-generated portfolios. • Strong fundamentals. You understand what the code is doing and why. You can read a stack trace, reason about a query plan, debug a race condition, and tell when an agent is wrong. We are explicitly not hiring "vibe coders" who depend on AI to compensate for missing fundamentals — AI amplifies seniority, it doesn't replace it. • Daily, hands-on use of agentic dev tools. Claude Code, Cursor agent mode, Codex, or equivalent — used to ship real features, not just autocomplete. You can talk concretely about how you structure prompts, manage context, parallelize agents, and verify their output. • Generalist instinct. You're comfortable jumping between Vue, Python, SQL, infra, and integrations. You don't wait for someone else to take the layer you're "not assigned to." • Database and systems chops. You …
