AI AT ZAPIER At Zapier https://zapier.com/about, we build and use automation every day to make work more efficient, creative, and human. So if you’re using AI tools while applying here - that’s great! We just ask that you use them responsibly and transparently. Check out our guidance on How to Collaborate with AI During Zapier’s Hiring Process https://zapier.com/l/jobs/ai-at-zapier, including how to use AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or others during our hiring process - and when not to. SR. ENGINEER, DATABASE RELIABILITY Hi there! We're looking for a Database Reliability Engineer (DBRE) to join the State team at Zapier. We need someone who can set direction on our data infrastructure and isn’t afraid to get into the weeds to solve challenging operational problems. The State team owns the platform behind Zapier's stateful services: our relational database fleet (MySQL and PostgreSQL), a caching layer built on Redis and ElastiCache, and the tooling that lets product teams use it all easily, safely, and reliably. You'll shape our practices around automation, observability, performance, reliability, and disaster recovery, and help make the right way the easy way for the teams building on top of our data layer. This is a senior DBRE role on the State team. You'll be the technical center of gravity for database and cache work: the person other engineers come to for design review, the one setting the bar for how we operate the data layer, and the one responsible for growing the DBRE practice on the team over time. We know applying for and taking on a new job at any company requires a leap of faith. We want you to feel comfortable and excited to apply at Zapier. To help share a bit more about life at Zapier, here are a few resources in addition to the job description that can give you an inside look at what life is like at Zapier. Hopefully, you'll take the leap of faith and apply. Our Commitment to Applicants https://zapier.com/jobs/our-commitment-to-applicantsCulture and Values at Zapier https://zapier.com/jobs/culture-and-values-at-zapier/Zapier Guide to Remote Work https://zapier.com/learn/remote-work/Diversity and Inclusivity at Zapier https://zapier.com/jobs/diversity-and-inclusivity-at-zapier/ Zapier is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce. ABOUT YOU You're an experienced database technologist. You have at least 7 years in systems administration, systems engineering, or software development, with at least 4 years running production relational databases. You have deep expertise in MySQL or PostgreSQL and working knowledge of the other, including each engine's ecosystem of extensions and tools. You understand caching (such as Redis) as part of the data layer, how to design and operate it at scale, and the tradeoffs between caching and the database underneath. You know the cloud and treat infrastructure as code. You've designed and maintained highly available, cloud-based database systems in AWS or another cloud platform, and you manage that infrastructure with Terraform or similar IaC tooling rather than by hand. You're comfortable operating stateful services alongside Kubernetes or other distributed systems, and you understand the tradeoffs of running data workloads in and around orchestrated environments. You build and use observability. You've implemented metrics, logging, and alerting for data systems using tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or CloudWatch, and you know the difference between a dashboard that looks good and one that catches problems before customers do. You treat query performance data, replication lag, and cache hit rates as first-class signals. You partner with product teams. Product teams are your customers. When a team comes to you with a design or a problem, you ask about their workload before prescribing a solution, give them options with tradeoffs rather than edicts, and leave them more capable than you found them. You handle support requests with the same care as incident response, you participate in an on-call rotation for production data systems, and you'd rather teach a team to fish than field the same question twice. You document things well so your knowledge can be consumed asynchronously. You raise the bar for the team around you. You're an experienced DBRE on this team, and you treat that as a responsibility. You review peers' designs and give feedback that makes the design better and the engineer sharper. You pair on hard problems when it helps someone else grow. You turn things you've learned the hard way into docs, patterns, and runbooks so the next person doesn't have to learn them the hard way too. You care about the team being more capable a year from now than it is today. You ship code to solve systems problems. You automate repetitive work and build tools that make the team more effective. You're comfortable digging into application code to fix a bug or launching a backend …

Instructional Designer, TRM Academy (Compliance)

Remote

Build a Safer World. TRM Labs provides AI-powered intelligence solutions that help public and private sector agencies investigate and disrupt crime. TRM's platforms enable investigators to trace illicit activity, build cases, and construct operating pictures of threat networks. Leading agencies and businesses worldwide rely on TRM to make the world safer and more secure. The Instructional Designer on TRM Academy designs and builds the courses, certifications and learning paths that help financial institutions, crypto businesses, regulators and law enforcement understand crypto risk, apply compliance principles and combat crypto-enabled financial crime. You turn the expertise of TRM's intelligence, policy and compliance teams into published, assessment-backed training across self-paced courses, live sessions and product documentation, in multiple languages. What makes this role different: you use AI to build faster, and you own the accuracy that government agencies and financial institutions rely on when they train and certify their people. The impact you will have: • Design learning pathways for a widening range of learners. Turn the Academy's catalog into clear paths through self-paced courses, live sessions and scenario-based assessments, with a particular focus on helping compliance teams understand crypto activity, assess risk and apply regulatory requirements in practice. • Keep TRM's certifications accurate and defensible. Run the review cycle for the Academy's certification programs. Route content and exam items to subject-matter experts for sign-off, check figures and citations against their sources, and update courses quickly as crypto risks, regulatory requirements and source material evolve. • Turn expert knowledge into strong training. Coach subject-matter experts with editorial feedback so their expertise becomes clear, well-built courses, hands-on exercises and trainer toolkits for live delivery. Help learners connect technical and regulatory concepts to everyday compliance decisions. • Co-own product documentation and training across TRM's platforms. Keep help content, onboarding and product training accurate and in step with releases, connecting platform capabilities to practical compliance and investigative workflows. • Deliver content in multiple languages without losing accuracy. Run the localization workflow: first-draft translation, native-speaker review and SME sign-off for technical and regulatory material. • Make the team faster, and prove the training works. Draft with AI and own the verification, so no unsupported figure, source or regulatory detail reaches a learner. Build reusable workflows the Academy adopts, and measure both the build time saved and learner outcomes beyond completions. What we’re looking for: • 3 to 5+ years of instructional design or curriculum development for adult learners, with a portfolio of published, assessment-backed courses. • Experience building on an LMS and writing valid assessments and item banks. • Ability to translate technical and regulatory subject-matter content into practical curriculum; familiarity with crypto compliance, anti-money laundering, sanctions or financial-crime risk is a strong plus. • Production AI fluency: you already use AI daily to draft content, generate assessment items and speed up build and research workflows. • Readiness to build reusable AI workflows others adopt, including item generation checked against source and comparisons of existing modules against new intelligence and regulatory developments, and to own the human verification step. • Excellent written communication and a track record owning courses end-to-end as the single accountable owner. About the Team: • You will join TRM Academy’s Training and Certification team, which builds engaging, mission-relevant content and teaches to every level of expertise. • The work is intellectually demanding: you keep curriculum accurate across crypto, compliance and investigations, with an emphasis on translating evolving risks and regulatory expectations into practical education and valid certification assessments. • Mission-first, execution-oriented culture that values speed, high build quality and measurable business impact through education. • AI-native team: designers use AI daily to build content and ship reusable assets the whole Academy adopts. Team Operating Rhythms: • Distributed, not distant: a team that collaborates across time zones with regular overlap for syncs and content reviews. • Slack-first, async communication; @mention for timely responses. • Weekly 1:1s and team syncs, plus regular content-build and review rhythms tied to launch windows. • Close working cadence with SMEs in Intelligence, Policy and Compliance and with Product for accuracy. Required online and collaboration hours: • Schedule: Business hours with overlap across US time zones for internal syncs and content reviews. Travel Requirements: • …

The role is part of our Business Analytics Center of Excellence, where analysts are assigned to support one or more business functions. You will track paid advertising performance and translate it into metrics such as LTV and ROAS that inform budget allocation and channel strategy, from structuring the underlying data pipelines to developing the reports that help marketing and business leaders make data-driven decisions. Are you passionate about bringing rigor to how early-stage businesses measure and optimize acquisition spend from day one? If so, we encourage you to apply! This person will define the metrics that matter, measure channel and campaign performance, and develop reports that drive decisions. They will also build models, forecast outcomes, run experiments, and perform in-depth diagnostic analysis. Ultimate success goes beyond data-related activities, you’ll be delivering the “so what” that drives decisions and real business impact. It is imperative to fully understand each business (processes, objectives, organization, performance drivers, barriers), and connect the dots between paid acquisition data, marketing strategy, and financial and operational effectiveness. This role partners closely with the Business Analyst, New Businesses and the Senior Business Analyst focused on acquisitions, ensuring marketing performance insights are integrated with the broader business and revenue picture. • Und weißt du, was ganz fantastisch wäre?

Adaptyv is building an automated lab that lets AI agents run biology experiments. We're entering the era of agentic science where AI models can now design novel proteins, propose hypotheses, and iterate on experimental results. But they can't run the experiments themselves - that's still a manual, months-long process. We're building the infrastructure that gives AI agents access to the physical world. We are one of the fastest growing biotech companies, trusted by leading biopharmas, frontier AI labs, and the techbio companies pushing the field forward. This is a rare chance to help advance some of the most important work happening in biotech today. Our automated lab is powered by a deep software + hardware stack: lab instruments worth millions of USD reverse-engineered into API-controllable hardware, dozens of devices orchestrated through complex workflows, full observability on everything that happens in the lab, processing pipelines for messy physical-world data, and AI systems that troubleshoot production results and accelerate assay development. We’re growing rapidly and are hiring for talented people to scale and support the massive demand for AI-driven wet lab experimentation. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a hybrid sales and customer success role for someone with real scientific depth. You'll be the primary point of contact for customers — from first conversation through ongoing engagement. That means understanding what a protein design team is actually trying to achieve, helping them pick the right assays, making sure their experiments are set up correctly, and translating results back into language that's useful for their programs. The day-to-day: • Running technical sales calls where you discuss binding kinetics, expression systems, and assay design, not just pricing • Onboarding new customers and helping them design their first experiments on the platform • Monitoring ongoing accounts, flagging issues early, and proactively suggesting next steps based on their results • Working with the biology team to troubleshoot when a customer's experiment doesn't go as expected • Identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts — new targets, new assay types, larger campaigns You won't be handed a script. You'll need to understand the science well enough to earn trust from PhD-level protein engineers and CSOs, while also being commercially sharp enough to close deals and grow accounts. Responsibilities • Own the full customer lifecycle: prospecting, technical sales conversations, deal closing, onboarding, and ongoing account management. • Serve as the technical point of contact for customers. Understand their protein engineering goals and recommend the right experiments (binding, expression, thermostability, enzyme activity). • Understand and explain our assay capabilities in depth: BLI, SPR, cell-free expression, and emerging assay types. Know when each is appropriate and what the data means. • Work closely with the biology team to ensure experiments are designed correctly and results are communicated clearly. • Build and maintain a pipeline of commercial opportunities across customer segments: AI-driven protein design companies, biotech startups, pharma R&D teams, and academic labs. • Develop proposals and quotes tailored to customer needs, from small pilot experiments to large-scale data generation campaigns. • Represent Adaptyv at conferences and industry events. Be able to have deep technical conversations at the booth, not just hand out brochures. • Feed customer insights back to the product and biology teams: what assays are people asking for, what's missing, where are we losing deals. What we're looking for • Scientific background in protein engineering, biochemistry, biophysics, or a related field. You should be comfortable discussing binding kinetics (KD, kon, koff), expression systems, and assay design without needing to look things up. • Experience in a customer-facing technical role: field application scientist, technical sales, scientific account management, or similar. CRO or biotech vendor experience is a strong plus. • Commercially driven. You care about revenue, pipeline, and closing deals, not just having interesting scientific conversations. • Strong communicator who can adapt to the audience: detailed and technical with a scientist, concise and business-focused with a VP. • Self-starter who can manage their own pipeline and priorities without heavy oversight. • Genuine interest in AI-driven protein design and the companies working in this space. You follow what's happening in the field. Application deadline We are reviewing applicants on a rolling basis.

Responsibilities:

• Own the full customer lifecycle: prospecting, technical sales conversations, deal closing, onboarding, and ongoing account management. • Serve as the technical point of contact for customers.
