Job description
Job Summary
Over the coming months and into 2027, more than 100 national TM organisations will move onto the TM Suite, a shared set of tools for websites, course bookings, payments, meditator records and reporting. Countries will move in groups, with go-live dates scheduled from February to April 2027.
Each stage of the rollout begins with a live group call and an online course. As a Volunteer Trainer, you’ll provide the next layer of support. You’ll run regular open sessions, ideally in small groups, where national office staff, Teacher Training Coordinators and teachers can work through the key points, build confidence with the tools, and complete their steps on time.

Most volunteers focus on one of these areas, listed in rollout order:
- Website: Help countries manage their website content in the Prismic Content Manager, prepare translations, and get their site ready to go live. (Most needed now. Preparation runs in October, with support starting in November.)
- Payments (optional for countries): Help countries decide whether online payments suit them, and guide them through setting up their own payment portal account.
- Legacy data import (optional for countries): Help national admins understand the data requirements so they can prepare meditator records for their new database.
- National tooling: Help national admin teams feel confident with daily tasks in the Teacher Dashboard, such as updating records, verifying meditators for the TM app, and using reports.
- Teacher Dashboard: Support Teacher Training Coordinators and teachers with bookings, the meditator database and app management before go-live.
Volunteers for the later areas will be trained closer to when those stages begin.
About You
You’re comfortable with technology and enjoy learning new tools. You can explain things clearly and step by step, and you stay patient with people who are learning something unfamiliar. You care about helping national organisations and teachers spend less time on admin and more time teaching. You’re also organised enough to manage your own schedule and keep commitments to the countries you support.
Responsibilities
- Complete the volunteer training module for your chosen area, plus a few additional sessions with the central team (about 5 hours in total).
- Become familiar with the tools for your area, such as the Prismic Content Manager, the Teacher Admin Dashboard or the Reports Dashboard.
- Offer regular open support times through the scheduling tool, at a rhythm that suits you.
- Run support sessions, ideally in small groups, for countries that have finished the relevant online course.
- Help participants understand the key points, use the tools confidently, and complete their rollout steps on time.
- Pass recurring questions or issues back to the central team, so that solutions found in one country can be shared with others.
Skills and Requirements
- Comfortable using and learning technical tools
- Able to explain processes clearly, step by step
- Patient and encouraging with people who are new to a system
- Self-directed and reliable in managing your own schedule
- Able to commit a few hours a week during your area’s rollout stage
- Familiarity with the TM organisation, national offices or teacher administration is helpful
Pay and Benefits
This is an unpaid volunteer role. In return, you’ll get:
- Training on the TM Suite tools for your chosen area
- A flexible schedule that you set yourself
- A direct part in helping national organisations around the world move onto shared tools, so no country has to solve these problems alone
- Working alongside the central team and fellow volunteers across regions
Time commitment: about 5 hours of initial training, then a few hours a week.
Diversity and Inclusion
We care about diversity - we strive to ensure all of our team feel included and can bring their whole selves to work but we also know that this work is never 'done' or complete, and that we can always improve.
Our team is fully remote, living and working across 20 countries across the world, and we'd love to hear how you can add to our special culture at MFI.
