SAP S/4HANA Developer (ABAP / Accounts Payable Integration) - Full Remote Europe
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Join a fast-growing AI startup that is changing how large enterprises run their finance operations through intelligent automation. You'll work at the intersection of AI and SAP, building the integration that connects automation directly to the core financial systems of one of the largest telecommunications groups in Europe. This is a fully remote, hands-on development role for SAP developers who want to move beyond traditional projects and help put real AI-driven processes into production.
PROJECT & CONTEXT
Our client builds AI-powered automation solutions for finance teams. In this project, you'll develop the integration between their platform and the Accounts Payable processes running on SAP S/4HANA at a major telecom operator. You'll design and build the interfaces, custom developments, and data flows that allow the automation platform to read from and write to SAP reliably and at high volume. You'll work closely with the startup's engineering and product teams, as well as with the end client's SAP team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on SAP development experience, including SAP S/4HANA
- Strong ABAP development skills
- Proven experience building integrations between SAP and external systems
- Good understanding of Accounts Payable data and processes in SAP (invoices, vendors, payments) from a technical perspective
- Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote setup
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Based in Europe
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)
- Experience with modern ABAP (CDS Views, RAP, OData services)
- Knowledge of SAP integration technologies (APIs, IDocs, BAPIs, SAP BTP / Integration Suite)
- Previous experience on SAP projects in the telecommunications sector
- Exposure to finance automation, RPA, or AI-driven solutions
- Experience in startup or product environments
