Job description
TL;DR: We’re looking for a Product Designer to turn complex AI safety workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces used by engineering and research teams every day. You’ll own design end to end: evolve our Figma design system, improve existing screens, create new product flows, prototype interactions, and work closely with product, engineering, and research to ship quickly.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Evolve the Figma design system so it stays consistent, scalable, and easy to work with
- Update current screens and design new flows for upcoming features
- Work directly with product, engineering, and research — fast iterations and full ownership
- Collaborate closely with engineers during implementation: review builds, catch inconsistencies, and make sure what ships matches the design
- Prototype interactions, both in Figma and with AI or code tools when it helps
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 6+ years working with Figma: Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Prototyping, Design Systems, Figma Variables
- You’ve designed clear, functional web interfaces, ideally for technical products
- You can create basic animations with any tools you prefer
- You use AI tools in your own workflow

BONUS POINTS
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge, enough to understand constraints or tweak styles yourself
- Experience with React or reading frontend code
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or design tokens in code
- Experience prototyping with code or AI tools (v0, Cursor, Claude Code, Framer)
- Experience designing data-heavy interfaces: dashboards, tables, developer tools
