About the Role
Our Finance team keeps the numbers behind Circus's growth accurate, timely, and audit-ready. As Financial Accountant, you own the day-to-day accounting that everything else builds on — general ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets — and play a direct role in closing our books and supporting group reporting. It's a hands-on role with real ownership from day one, working closely with both the internal Finance team and external partners.
This position is available both full-time and part-time.
Your Daily Business
- Manage day-to-day financial accounting: general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets
- Support preparation of monthly and quarterly closings
- Assist with half-year and year-end closing, including audit preparation
- Contribute to group consolidation and reporting processes
- Help optimize and automate finance processes
- Partner closely with internal departments and external providers
Base Qualifications
- Completed commercial training with relevant professional experience in financial accounting
- Proficient user of DATEV
- Basic knowledge of HGB (German GAAP)
- Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
- Independent, team-oriented, and hands-on working style
Preferred Qualifications
- Further qualification as "Finanzbuchhalter" or equivalent
- SAP and/or MS Dynamics experience
- Interest in developing further, potentially toward a Bilanzbuchhalter qualification
