WHAT YOU’LL DO

As an Accounting & Reporting Manager (f/m/x), you will be the key accounting expert for Enpal Financial Services (EFS). You will take ownership of HGB and IFRS accounting, financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing processes, and the continuous development of scalable accounting operations.

• Own and coordinate the monthly and annual closing processes for EFS and ensure accurate, high-quality financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with HGB and IFRS, including the preparation of IFRS reporting adjustments.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and group reporting requirements.
• Coordinate consolidation and reporting activities with Enpal Group Finance and relevant stakeholders.
• Drive the automation, standardisation and scalability of accounting and reporting processes.
• Oversee the accounting treatment of financing, receivables, leasing and factoring-related transactions.
• Support accounting topics related to SPVs, securitisation and financing structures where required.
• Coordinate tax and VAT compliance together with external advisors and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Act as the key accounting partner for EFS management and stakeholders across the Enpal Group.
• Translate complex accounting topics into practical recommendations for business stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a comparable field.
• Several years of relevant experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, Group Accounting, Audit, or a comparable finance function.
• Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS as well as month-end, year-end and statutory reporting processes.
• Experience with financial reporting, consolidation and closing activities.
• Proven experience improving, simplifying and automating accounting processes.
• A hands-on, pragmatic and solution-oriented working style with a high degree of ownership.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to explain complex accounting matters in a clear and practical way.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
