MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB We are seeking a freelance Bulgarian SEO Specialist to join and support our SEO team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing our SEO efforts by conducting keyword research, utilizing keyword planners, and optimizing content, among other responsibilities. MAIN DUTIES The following is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities and areas of ownership for this role: • Keyword Research • Keyword Planner • Metadata Optimisation • Content Optimisation • On-Page Optimisation • Keyword Translation from English to Bulgarian and Bulgarian to English • Data Handling and Management • SEO Copywriting REQUIREMENTS Education Level • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a college or university in a related field, or equivalent work experience Experience • A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in SEO. • Strong working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript for SEO, with basic skills in writing and reading code. • Native level of Bulgarian and strong understanding of the Bulgarian culture • In-depth understanding of best practices for various search engines, including Google, Bing, Baidu, and others. • Proven ability to deliver successful results through SEO initiatives. • Extensive knowledge and experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, and WebTrends. • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting. • Expertise in using third-party SEO analysis tools, including Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Majestic, and similar platforms. • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines consistently. • Strong understanding of how other online and offline marketing channels—such as display ads, affiliates, social media, print, TV, and email—interact with and influence SEO. As a Linguistic Tester, you’ll help bring high-quality Kazakh content to life and ensure it feels natural, accurate, and polished for end users. Your main focus will be reviewing and refining localized content, making sure it reads smoothly and is free from errors. This includes checking grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, formatting, and cultural or contextual accuracy. You’ll also work hands-on with products by executing test cases, identifying localization bugs, and reporting issues through internal bug-tracking systems. Once fixes are implemented, you’ll help verify that they’ve been resolved correctly. From time to time, you’ll also have the opportunity to translate content from English into Kazakh. In addition, you’ll explore user interfaces to identify localization or functional issues, playing an important role in delivering a seamless and user-friendly experience. This role is ideal for someone with native-level Kazakh fluency, strong attention to detail, and an interest in quality assurance within digital products.
