OUR MISSION: At Sunrise Robotics, we are dedicated to augmenting humanity through intelligent robotics. Our mission is to elevate the world of manufacturing by introducing intelligent, flexible robots that enhance human capabilities and existing machinery, ushering in the next era of production at higher quality, with less waste, and lower cost. OUR VISION: We see a future where every element of manufacturing, from design to assembly, is optimised with intelligent automation. Our vision is to integrate flexible robotic solutions, based on generic hardware and advanced software/AI capabilities, into manufacturing, particularly in small and medium-sized enterprises, to make automation economically viable and accessible, for all sizes of manufacturers. We are not just building robots; we are creating the strategically crucial components for autonomous, intelligent agents of the future. About The Role You design how the Sunrise robotic cell fits into a customer's production line. You take a manual process and turn it into a safe, efficient, fully automated robotic cell: you map the process, model the cell in simulation, lay out the floor, prove the cycle time, and define the safety concept. You sit in Product, on the Solutions team, at the border between a customer's technical strategy and our own product. You own the technical concept behind each proposal, and what you learn from customers feeds directly into where the product goes next. Winning the deal is the start, not the finish. The fast concept that wins a proposal then has to be refined into a full application design before anything gets built. That design work is the core of the role, and it is where most of your effort goes. What You'll Do • Analyze a customer's existing manufacturing process and propose and design a safe, efficient, fully automated solution. • Model the robotic cell in simulation to validate reachability, find bottlenecks, and prove feasibility. • Design the placement, footprint, and material flow of the cell from customer data. • Calculate cycle times, Takt time, and the throughput we can guarantee from real production data. • Own the technical concept behind each proposal, then refine the winning concept into a complete application design. • Present the concept, layout, and throughput case to the customer, and fold their feedback into the design. • Act as the technical voice of Sunrise in customer calls. • Hand finalized process maps, simulations, and layouts to our internal Deployment team. • Gather raw data, floor plans, and production requirements directly from customer engineering teams. • Feed what you learn in the field back into product direction. What You'll Need • 5 or more years in automation engineering, robotics integration, or solutions design for manufacturing. • Strong proficiency in robotic simulation software, such as Process Simulate, Visual Components or similar. • Solid CAD experience, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar, for layout and 3D data. • Proven cycle-time calculation, capacity planning, and manufacturing-data analysis. • A deep understanding of material flow, lean manufacturing, and process sequencing. • Clear communication, including presenting technical concepts and layouts directly to customers. • A base in a CET +/- 3 time zone and eligibility to travel within the Schengen area. What Makes You Stand Out • Knowledge of robotic safety standards, such as EN ISO 10218. • Experience with diverse manufacturing data formats and KPIs. • Familiarity with gripping technologies, feeding systems, and conveyor integration. • Exposure to a range of manufacturing environments and production processes. • Experience with Isaac Sim. Why Us? You join as the Solutions team forms, with the scope to shape how Sunrise turns customer problems into robotic cells. • Direct impact: when a customer's line hits its throughput target on a cell you designed, that is your work. • Real constraints, not slideware: real factories, real CAD, real cycle times, proven before anything is built. • Product influence: your customer insight feeds straight into where the product goes next. • Room to grow: competitive compensation, including equity, and a flexible, remote environment that values learning.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze a customer's existing manufacturing process and propose and design a safe, efficient, fully automated solution. • Model the robotic cell in simulation to validate reachability, find bottlenecks, and prove fe…

The role: We are hiring a Chief of Staff to the CEO. You are the CEO's closest execution partner. You sit in the rooms the CEO sits in, and represent him in the ones he cannot be in. You make sure the company executes fast on the decisions made in those rooms, by driving the most important cross-team projects yourself. The mandate has four parts. Run the operating cadence the leadership team works inside. Own the company's commitments and see them through to done. Make the CEO's decisions and priorities legible to everyone they affect. Protect the CEO's time for the work only the CEO can do. This is a senior individual role with no direct reports. Your authority comes from the mandate, agreed in writing with the CEO, and from being right. You are not a gatekeeper. We are outcome-driven, direct, high trust and high autonomy. There is very little hand-holding. We enjoy working with people who bring a healthy degree of intensity and drive. What this role is not: Not an executive assistant. Not a COO. Not a strategy seat where you write decks about work other people do. What you will do: • Run the operating cadence Own the quarterly planning cycle, company goals and the weekly leadership meeting: agenda, a dashboard of under 15 metrics, decisions written down, commitments tracked to done. Every red metric gets a root cause and an owner within the week. • Drive cross-functional execution When a decision needs three teams and has no single owner, you are the direct responsible individual until it lands. You hold owners to their dates, unblock, and escalate early. Most of these run in weeks, not quarters. • Make decisions travel Every leadership decision gets written down and reaches the people it affects within a day. You draft the all-hands deck, decision memos and internal communication in the CEO's voice. The CEO edits; you draft. You hold the bar in the rooms the CEO is not in. When quality or pace drops, you name it that day. • Build and manage the operating system Morning briefs, commitments tracking, meeting-to-action pipelines, and the reporting the CEO takes to the board. Build the foundation and systems, so the company gets more legible with less manual work. You do this yourself, not through a vendor. • Make the company legible Decisions, processes and playbooks written once, findable by everyone, and used as the standard. • Take special projects, up to a day a week You pick them up with CEO-level urgency and hand them back completed, or with an owner and a clear path to done. Who you are: • You bring energy High intensity, high pace, and you are impatient when good decisions sit. You set the tempo in a room without raising your voice. People move faster because you are there. • You have operated inside a fast-changing, venture-backed company Typically four to eight years in. You have lived through at least one moment where the plan changed under you and you kept the team executing. Titles vary: chief of staff, business operations, founder's associate, program or product lead, consultant who went operating, ex-founder. We care about the work, not the title. • You build systems, not just tasks Somewhere, a team runs on a cadence or a tool you set up, and it kept working after you left the room. • You think in systems You see how a change in hiring shows up in deploy capacity three months later. You spot the second-order effect before it hits. • You run complex projects across stakeholders Several teams, outside parties, a hard deadline, no formal authority. You have done that and landed it. • You are technically fluent Strong technical fluency is required. You are equally at home in a spreadsheet and a database. You pull your own numbers, build your own model, and follow an engineering discussion closely enough to ask the question that matters. • You are AI-native You have built agents or automations that run without you: a pipeline, a briefing, a tracker. You can show us. Daily use of a chatbot is not enough. • You write and visualize …

Technical Product Manager, Platform

THE ROLE: Platform is the core part of what makes Sunrise succeed: the software that lets a robotic cell see, move and recover, and the simulation pipeline we use to build and test all of it. You will own it. You will own what Platform builds and why: which problems it solves next, what done means, and when it lands. This is not a backlog administration job. The engineers you will work with have strong, well argued technical opinions. You need the robotics depth to argue back with evidence, to challenge an estimate credibly, and to judge when the elegant architecture is worth the time and when it is not. The same judgement runs toward the customer: what Platform builds becomes the capabilities that decide which processes we can automate and which markets we can enter, so every technical trade-off is also a customer value decision. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Own the Platform roadmap • Run discovery and prioritisation: turn ideas from customers, engineers and leadership into evidenced, prioritised jobs to be done. • Turn prioritised jobs to be done into initiatives: write the specs, set milestones the team can commit to, and sequence them against the Sunrise roadmap. • In robot software the cost of change is the core problem: a wrong requirement costs months, not days. Work out how much specification each decision needs, and catch the expensive mistakes before anyone builds them. Run delivery with engineering • Run cycle planning for the pillar, name the outcome of each cycle, and check that the planned work adds up to that outcome. • Track dates against milestones with each initiative's technical lead. When estimates and targets disagree, cut scope, add people or move the date, explicitly and early. • Sign off that delivered work meets the requirements and the quality bar written in the spec. Be the technical counterpart • Work daily with team leads and senior engineers on real trade-offs: perception accuracy against cycle time, simulation fidelity against speed, ship now against build it properly. • Challenge estimates and accept challenge back. Arguments here run on evidence, not seniority. Carry the customer into the platform • Our customers are high-mix manufacturers, and the people who matter most are operators and facility managers. Bring their reality into every prioritisation decision. • Work with the deployment team so what Platform ships works on a customer's factory floor, not just in the lab. WHAT YOU’LL NEED: • A robotics engineering background. You have built and shipped robot software (perception, motion planning, manipulation or robotics simulation) as an engineer or technical lead. This is a must. The role cannot be done from product experience alone. • Senior product experience. You have owned a technical product area with 10 or more engineers and carried it from problem to shipped, including the messy middle. • Spec writing where the cost of change is high. Specs and requirements that engineers respect and that hold up months later. • Estimation and delivery discipline. Milestones, estimates with stated risk, and honest reforecasting when the numbers disagree. • Argument by evidence. You can disagree with a very senior engineer and change their mind, or have yours changed, without the relationship taking damage. • Excellent written English. We are remote and run on documents, not slides. • A working grasp of learned robotics. ML-driven perception and control alongside classical methods, enough to weigh bets between them. WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT: • Industrial automation or manufacturing experience in high-mix environments. • Hands-on time with simulation tooling such as Isaac Sim. • Experience as the first or most senior product person in a technical area, defining the ways of working rather than inheriting them. • Serious daily use of AI tools in product work.
