About Street Child Germany: Street Child Germany e.V. is a growing German charity organization that is part of the international Street Child network, committed to ensuring every child is ‘safe, in school and learning’. The Role: We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Director of Street Child Germany to lead the operations and future development of Street Child Germany, at an exciting and pivotal stage in the organisation's development. Reporting directly to the Board and collaborating closely with our Street Child network partners, the Director will lead all aspects of the organization’s functioning, with fundraising and income growth as the central priority of the role, alongside partnerships, day-to-day operations and compliance. Street Child Germany office is located in Munich. This is a key opportunity for a dynamic professional, bringing a strong fundraising and, ideally, a relevant programmatic background, who is ready to grow with the organization and help scale its impact in Germany and ultimately in our project countries, by driving growing, sustainable levels of income from diverse channels. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement the fundraising strategy of Street Child Germany – under the direction of the Board and in smart collaboration with global network colleagues. With a clear focus on building reliable, diversified and scalable income for Street Child Germany • Represent and grow Street Child Germany as a trusted and impactful non-profit organization • Lead grant applications and ensure accountability and reporting to German funding partners • Support and manage the fundraising team • Oversee daily operations, including project controlling, finance, administration, HR, and compliance (with support from external fiduciaries and legal partners) • Drive the optimal level of smart collaboration and healthy relationship, balancing multiple factors, between the German entity and the international Street Child network • Support governance processes and work closely with the Board of Street Child Germany on strategy, risk, and reporting • Drive visibility, partnerships, and future growth opportunities. Your Profile: • Passionate identification with the values and goals of Street Child • Extensive experience in German fundraising with foundations, philanthropists and corporates and a deep understanding of the local donor landscape, with the ability to turn relationships, proposals and opportunities into sustainable income • Broad experience with German institutional funders like Bengo/BMZ, Auswärtiges Amt, EU is a big plus, the ability and willingness to engage in this sphere, regardless of prior exposure, is essential • Native in German and English at least negotiation level (written and spoken). • Residence in Germany is required. Street Child Deutschland ist Mitglied des seit 20 Jahren bestehenden, internationalen Street Child Netzwerkes. Street Child ist in der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit in über 20 der ärmsten und oft von Krisen betroffenen Ländern aktiv. Der Schutz und die Bildung von Kindern sowie die Sicherung des Lebensunterhaltes von Familien steht im Mittelpunkt unseres Wirkens. Neben einer engen Zusammenarbeit mit den deutschen Vorstands- und Teamkollegen bietet dieses Ehrenamt auch die Möglichkeiten, unser europäisches Fundraising-Team in Barcelona und London zu unterstützen und mit den Vorstandsmitgliedern im globalen Street Child Netzwerk zusammenzuarbeiten.
